I tohugh the final battle theme for 3 was Burn My Dread,it's been a while since I've played 3 so my memory is a little fuzzy. Either way they all kick ass
Why must you rob me of originality so? Oh well. As long as I'm being the same as everyone else anyway: I agree with you completely. Real shame to see how few games put effort into their music today and, to an even greater extent, the decline of boss fights.

And while I don't think it's as awesome as my previous two, yet another indie final boss. (The boss has not one, not two, but five phases; the music translates between each as it goes a bit abruptly)

It's tense. It's dramatic. It knows everything is at stake. It also feels somewhat desperate, as you fight out of conviction rather than love. Appropriate, given that the final enemy is a man who's been your friend throughout the entire game.
