Tough one, I have fond memorys of Rayman, Mortal Kombat Trillogy, Road Rash: Jail Break, and The Unholy War.

But that's just the ones that stick out in my head the most, I was very young when I had a PS1.

I really enjoyed Crash Bandicoot 2. I don't know how well it would hold up today, though. Between the platforming, item collecting and main character that was obviously intended to be "the next Mario/Sonic", it's very much a product of the 90's.

Can't say.

So many great games... The Spyro series, Crash Bandicoot series, Twisted Metal, Legend of Dragoon...

All great. At the moment I say the first Spyro though. If only because I just finished playing through it and its still fresh on my mind.

Close call between Final Fantasy IX and tactics, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Suikoden II, but I have to give it to P2.

I guess Dragon Quest VII and MGS are honorable mention.

Vagrant story, for me it a perfect blend of fun and controller snappingly difficult combat, which I can't say I've had that many times on the playstation

Exactly the same for me. Not only favorite FF game or PS1 game, but all time favorite of mine.

Ditto. In fact, it's not only my favourite PS game and FF game but probably my all-time favourite game
Also MGS, Spyro 2 and FF7/8

Objectively I'd say the original Tomb Raider (way ahead of its time), Resident Evil (very very influential) and Wipeout (one of the few racing games I ever enjoyed, and what a soundtrack!)

The big one has to be FF7 though. That was huge, and I'd never seen anything quite like it.

But personally, I'd pick Fear Effect and Fear Effect 2. Brilliantly written and acted, original and (for the era) visually very impressive. Damn I miss that series.
