For a few dollars more.

I love the final duel. More than the good the bad and the ugly...

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Without question the greatest spaghetti western ever made as well as the best western of all time. Clint Eastwood was absolutely brilliant in that film. Plus the theme song was great as well.

Can we class "From Dusk Till Dawn" as a western? If so, then that. If not then, fuck it, I don't care :) I just love that film!

It's not a movie, but a mini-series. Lonesome Dove. Seen it? It's pretty much awesome.

Which reminds me...

Best western book I've read is probably "The Virginian" but I also enjoyed "Riders of the Purple Sage."

As for a western movie. "Zachariah" is pretty much completely epic and hilarious. "Blazing Saddles" deserves a mention. "The Man who shot Liberty Valence" was a great movie with John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart. Though my favorite western growing up was by far "Big Jake" with John Wayne. His grandson he's never met got kidnapped, so he sets out to find him and kill whoever took him.

I'm going with Blazing Saddles...as that's the only Western I've watched from start to finish. Oh, and The Three Amigo's, but was that a Western?

Oh Christ, don't make me choose! I loved Josey Wales, but anything with Eastwood is gold to be honest. Open Range is good, but not very well known, and I also love the new 3:10 to Yuma.

I really cant decide. Sorry :(
