Hello my fellow Escapists! As Jim Sterling has pointed out on many occasions: 99% of Steam Greenlight is absolute crap, but every now and then you can find a golden little nugget that actually looks like it could be fun!

This topic is dedicated to any Green Light games that you'd like to bring attention to because they actually look like they could be pretty good. The other day while snooping around, I came across this little gem:

Gotta say it looks pretty fun with a neat little concept. How about you, my fellow Escapists? Have you come across anything recently that shows potential of shining out from the see of utter crap? Any games that you'd like to bring some more attention to in the hopes that it gets voted into existence?

Hey, I'm the game's developer! It's good to see it here!

The game was recently featured in a Rock Paper Shotgun article!

Were you involved with the free flash game The Last Stand [http://armorgames.com/play/269/the-last-stand] or any of the [http://armorgames.com/play/1443/the-last-stand-2] sequels [http://armorgames.com/play/12009/the-last-stand-union-city]?

I ask because I always wanted to find out who made those games because they're all fun to play. I think people tend to dismiss flash games due to a lack of depth or, strangely enough, ignore them because they're free.

Anyway, I'm glad to see the basic mechanic from the Last Stand games in your game, only with more breadth and depth. There's something disconcerting when you can see monsters piling up on you, like in the classic C64 Aliens game:

No, I had nothing to do with the Last Stand series. Emerge has been in development for more than 4 years, so there was time to add a lot more features than your average zombie defense flash game.

EDIT: The game was Greenlit just Yesterday. Once again, thanks to all who supported it during the Greenlight campaign.
