So I've decided to pre-order a certain Elder Scrolls themed MMO (You may call me several mean names if you so wish) and I discovered that a website called "Green Man Gaming" has a discount on the pre-order.

Now I've never heard of these guys, so I want to ask. Is Green Man Gaming reliable? Any good stories? Any horror stories?

Yeah they're really good. Don't really like their own DRM software thing Capsule, download speed on it seems really shitty and it's just another thing to have to launch but they're great otherwise. Loads of sales, good prices, nice dudes.

I pre-ordered Bioshock Infinite for £25 and got The Darkness 2 and a copy of Enemy Unknown for free.

Pretty decent digital store, they sometimes give away free games and there's always a decent special going on there, its just a matter of finding those discount codes they usually give out.

Biggest setback is that you are going to have to download yet another application to launch games through, if I remember correctly (been years since I last used them)

I use them all the time. I almost always just use the keys they supply to activate my games on Steam/Origin instead of using their Capsule services. Green Man Gaming plus Steam means a ton of great games with huge discounts.

Just make sure what ever game you get says Third Party DRM Steam/Origin/Uplay required. That is a title the gives you a key. I convinced a friend to get Bastion from GMG and he swears by Steam, but the GMG Bastion was only available with capsule. But other than that GMG is reliable and a great seller.

yup this, every game I've bought from them has been a steam key (which they say on the page) and it's been an easy activation aftewards. they might be more notorious than steam by now for having constant awesome sales and coupons for games, and alot of times the coupons WORK on games that are already on sale!

I've bought a few steam keys from them. No problems at all and immediate delivery.

I pretty much always order through them now as their prices are almost always better than Steam's.
