Just read this article, what are your thoughts on this?

As I live in China I can understand why a parent would be worried about their child gaming for so long, what with University places being so hard to get, one child policy and having personally seen internet café's here packed out at 4/5 am with people playing LoL and WoW.

So instead of trying to work out why he spends so much time doing that he decides he needs to ruin perhaps the one thing that his son enjoys doing.

Petty, but at least he wasted some of his money hiring people.

Interesting world we ended up with, instead of extending a helping hand people will resort to antagonizing... then they wonder how school shootings happen, and why everyone is popping anti-depressants like there is no tomorrow.

That seems like a rather redundant way of solving a problem.
How is repeated virtual assassination a deterrent? It could easily serve as a motivator, if the individual is competitive.
