Grrr silly Controls

dont you hate when you play a game for a long time then when you play a differnt game you keep getting the buttons mixed up with the other game.

for example i have been playing killzone 2 recently and i decided to have a quick go on cod 4. but since i got used to killzone 2 instead of aiming i kept slashed with my knife because the aim button in killzone is R3, grrrr

Especially in TF2 (360). I always press "X" and accidentally taunt.

haha has to be bioshock and tf2 these days been playing bioshock alot latly (achievement whore).
played tf2 yesterday and ever time i got low on health i pressed the b button because bioshock u press b to heal when u have med kits silly reflexes.

I used to press E to call for a medic in every game I played, got over that now.

Only problem I have at the moment is L4D sniping where I bash instead of look down scope.

So nothing out of the ordinary from me I'd say.

its annoying, but not infuriating. i played COD4 for ages before playing bioshock. it didnt work for a while, because i kept pressing the wrong buttons. i feel your pain, farmerboy.

Pressing B to melee on Halo, I always think it's X.

In FFVII O is enter, X is back. I read this was region specific for Asia and many games are configured this way. Why change this for the Western Market?

it seems weird but this happens to me when I change console too. I'll be playing on my PS2 then switch to WII and still be looking for the X button... ><

Tribes 2 screwed me up pretty bad with controls. It used ESDF rather than WASD to move. :/

Yeah, you could re-assign controls, but it was hell to do it because you had a remap a ton of other commands as well.

This usually doesn't happen to me much as I play on the PC and I try reconfigure my controls to be the same as I possibly can.

OY:After playing FF game or MGS game on playstation and then playing another plastion game is hell as O is ok and X is cancel and this is the opposite of 90% of games on the system.

I've been playing several stealth games recently. When I first played Thief 3, pressing X to crouch made good sense, but now I've been doing random shit like jumping up and down in an attempt to sneak.
