not without getting a constant six star wanted level, as far as I know.

If they wanted you to do that I imagine they'd have it unlocked at the beginning...

So 'No, not to my knowledge', is my answer.

You're just going to have to bite the bullet. Yeah, it does take a while to get all the way west, but Alderney sucks anyway so you shouldn't worry that the best part is coming for last. Besides, I found the islands to unlock pretty quickly from what I expected.

I don't think there's any alternative to driving your favourite cousin all around Liberty City for unlocking those bridges and areas. I know, it sucks
