GTA IV vs. Saints Row 2

I've said this several times to people. What GTA needs is to add a cheat mode to their sandbox. I already prefer GTA > Saints Row 2, but if a Cheat mode was added to it, it would make it amazing.

Sorry I'm a bit confused here, what do you mean by Cheat Mode?

Well make it so you can use cheats online in the freeroam mode. Things like Heath Regan, Infinite Ammo, Guns, Infinite Health. That sorta stuff. It would make the multiplayer far more interesting then Saints Row. I mean, imagine a 16 person car chase which made everyone god like and having them hold out in a massively public area. It would just simply be awesome.

This. I found myself spending much more time in SR2 just because of the crazy stuff you could do in it.

GTA4 held me up on the final interview mission because I was wearing some goddamned sunglasses with my suit and smart shoes. All the cars handle like ass. The characters are great, the story is fun, the gunplay is pretty good but goddamnit, it's just got too many gimmicks.

SR2 is simple fun. Though god do you do evil things.

But they ripped it off so well, it's a positively sparkling game.

GTA4 was a realistic open-world sandbox mission-based driving game.

SR2 was a comedic take on the mission-based driving games in general.

Realism? Go for GTAIV
Fun? Go for Saint's Row 2
Immersion? Go for GTAIV
Catharsis? Go for Saint's Row 2
Story? Go for GTAIV.
