Sorry if this has been discussed before. I haven't been in the forums in months. So GTA V is out obviously and I love it, but it bothers me that there are too many sports cars driving the streets. In previous entries they weren't nearly as common, and finding one was a bit exciting. But now it seems as you wander down the street more often than not you will get passed by a high end car, at least for me. It sort of takes the fascination of getting a vehicle and keeping it, knowing you are bound to find a better one in a matter of moments. I've already beaten the game, so maybe the game puts more expensive cars out on the street the farther you progress? Or maybe the creators at Rockstar wanted to cater to the players to always give them the fastest car. I'm not necessarily complaining, its just rather boring seeing a Ford GT every other street.

I've only ever noticed there being an abundance of sports cars around the Vinewood Hills area of the map which is where all of the better off residents live. And I'm rather happy with it being like that. Most of the city seems to have bog standard sedans and the like.

And I've yet to see anything super exotic on the streets of LS such as the Cheetah, Z-Type and the Lamborghini & Bugatti imitations.

Yeah there are two cars with vertical doors that are based off Lambos, the Vacca and the Infernus (Vehicle list: http://www.igta5.com/vehicles). I've come across maybe two Infernuses and no Vaccas and almost nothing else from the Super category.

Slightly related, but does anyone know if THAT car (Frank, white tux) from THAT mission (Newish, no idea how to cover spoilers yet) is available outside of it?

Check the websites on your phone.
There should be a car website which contains all of those cars.
I got them from there.

Hopefully that will help.

OT: Well, Micheal is mostly around in the expensive area so it should be no surprise if you get really good cars there.
Same with Franklin. (no spoilers)

Though Trevor lives out there so you can't find them unless you drive them yourself.
It is hard not talking about this whilst not revealing spoilers.

Like this. Just quote and read the format.

Like this

just like that

OT: maybe they do. I couldn't tell you. In past games, cars were just static and you had to look around in nice neighborhoods for good cars.

Head to the sandy shores area out where trevor lives, you'll see a LOT less high end cars.

And I'm quoting the Opening/Original Poster to exploit the quote notification system so he'll see this.

Traditionally in GTA games the cars you see on the streets depend on the car that you're currently driving. If you're in a piece of crap straight out of the ghetto, all you're going to be seeing are worthless cars on the streets. If you're in a sweet ride already, then you're going to be seeing a lot of other good cars.

At least in my experience, this has still held true for GTA 5. For instance, I was playing about 10 minutes ago and I jacked one of the four-wheelers that the beach lifeguards use. When I got to the streets there was nothing but jeeps and minivans, not a sports car to be found. When you're just walking around, I think it just depends on what area of the map you're in and/or possibly what car you were driving last.
