Does anyone have any good non-mission games they like to play? You show me yours and I'll show you mine:

-Knife attack:
Kill as many people with only a knife. When you get the police on you it gets slightly more difficult. I was able to get to 4 stars with only a knife. SWAT dudes are bastards when you hoplessly try to hack at their armour. This game is greatly fun for some reason. Stabing pedestrians unleashes my dark side. (Try stabing a guy at a computer. You'll see what I mean)

Do all the missions using only reverse. Let me tell you "it ain't easy."

Only break the law when you are forced to. Otherwise no carjacking, fisticuffs or gunfights.

Human Shot Put:

Obtain a motorbike and crash it. Try and launch yourself off the bike as far as possible in this way.

One problem with this is determining how far you've launched yourself. The best way ot get around this is probably to crash into the same wall/fence each time and use any landmarks in the area to judge how far you've gone.

Me and my friends had a cop-killing competition once. Police cars count for two, helicopters count for three, actual cops are one each. I think the record was a little less than thirty before they got killed.

I call my personal favourite game, 'being a twat':

Fight someone who will respond by wanting to kill you,
run away a bit so they chase you,
call 999 to come arrest them,
when they get put in the back of the cop car steal it and drive it off a cliff (or something else along those lines).

See how many people you can do this to before you get killed/busted.

I like getting 6 stars, flying up to the top of a high rise and then jumping off with an RPG in my hands... trying to land on a cop car is fun.

My favorite variant on normal gameplay: doing as much of the assassination missions in a helicopter as possible, without leaving it (though when you have to enter a building, not much you can do).

For example:
You are to go find Mr. Random Guy and kill him. You are informed he is in a convoy, with two other cars (Cavalcades), his own car being a limo (Stretch). Catch up to them mid-city between two skyscrapers, fly low to the ground and tilt forward until your rotors fling his car like a cheap Hotwheel. Just wait 'til he hops out, and its blender time!

That one made me laugh. I usually get a hooker in my car and drive it off a cliff or into a wall.

I do something similar to Human Shot Put, but with someone on the back of the motorcycle being launched and you staying on it. Get someone to ride the back, then proceed to tear down any bridge. When you get to the end, find a tree or pole or some other indestructible object and handbrake into it, smacking the side of the bike. If you hit it right, they will careen down the street, and you will be left untouched at best, jostled at worst.

It works best for me with the sport bikes.

"being a twat" wins hands down...but I ahve a variation, follow the cop car for a little while then get in fornt of it and start dropping grenades.

also buses are fun
and so is the human shot put, except you and your care are the barrier and your moving right towards them

I have a pretty fun one.

Get a helicopter and fly it to the edge of the map (Francis International Airport).
Then try to build up as much speed as possible while flying towards Manhattan.
At the edge of Broker (The border of Broker and the river) jump out and see how far you fly into Manhattan.
Just before you hit the ground, pause and mark your position on the map.
The try to beat your record.

I call it Olympic Suicide.

I've discovered one.

"Blame the Bum"
Start off by finding a homeless person on the street and then call 911 to have the police come to your destination.
Then instigate a fight with the bum, but don't throw any punches after your initial one, instead just block or move around.
When the cops come make sure they can see the two of you going at it, and if done right the cops should arrest the bum.

It's not as easy as it seems, as the LCPD is pretty useless, but I've managed to get it done a few times.

Push over pedestrians and repeatedly walk over them when they attempt to get up until they die. It's amusing for about 1 minute. C:

It doesn't work in 4, but I always loved car surfing in San Andreas. Jump onto the hood or roof of somebody's car (no taxis), and start stomping up and down. Try not to get thrown off the car while the terrified driver panics and tries to shake you off by driving erratically at a high speed. Keep your balance, and don't stop stomping until the car bursts into flames. bonus points if the driver never even gets a chance to run away from the imminent explosion.

It's kind of a bull-riding type thing.

Personally, I like to just wall off a random area with vehicles and whatnot (like times square), cause a bunch of mayhem, and when the cops start coming in numbers I can't handle, get in a car and just drive around the block in a circle for a while. Whitetrash roadrace FTW. Not really a mission or inventive or anything, but still fun.

Get high wanted level, and see how long you can hold out in one of the "open" houses.

The fun part is finding the houses, I've been making marks on my map as to their location.
