Everyone has at least one guilty pleasure (asfar as i know). My personal guilty pleasures are just Gangsta rap and for some odd reason anime movies like the evangelion movies and studio ghibli productions. So im curious what are your guilty pleasures and is there anything that is a recurring theme in the mind of the escapist.

They're of great quality and can certainly be watched with your family without feeling shame.

I just feel somewhat ashamed when im watching anykind of anime because im somewhat a western animation fan and i try to say to my friends that it is superior and if i say i like ghibli my friends would instantly try to suggest me shit like full metal alchemist and one piece. and im afraid of being labeled as an anime fan.

Well, you'd be surprised. Some of it is really good.

I was expecting Fullmetal alchemist to be of the same kind as One piece and Naruto and other such shounen-junk, but it's surprisingly good.

i listen to NPR endlessly in the car. If someone other than my wife or kids is in the car the radio changes to classic rock or pop or something but by myself i could listen to it from morning till night. except for their shitty indie music shows(excluding The Thistle and Shamrock, that shit is awesome), there's a reason those artists don't get exposure. So maybe i'm not a hipster, i don't care.
