Kids have it so much easier. All they have to do is like something because they like it. They don't care what other people think of what they like. I'm talking really little kids here, before the whole boys think things are girly and girls think... well I don't know what they think, I've never known one younger than twelve.
Anyway, the point I'm getting at here is for one reason or another, adults are forced to deny they enjoy something because of their general image, childish content, etc. etc. Although it seems counter-intuitive to ask people to admit something they're hesitant to admit with the only reasoning behind it being "because I asked," that's exactly what I'm doing.
So let's have it... guilty pleasure in as many forms as possible, not just music/movies. If you have a soft spot for lava lamps, furniture shaped like genitals, or jeggings, I want to hear about it.
My curiosity arose out of a rule that my job recently enforced about headphones (namely that they're not allowed to wear them since they lower awareness of your surroundings). We are only allowed to listen to music through speakers, oddly enough. While flicking through my iPod to find something to play, I was wondering if I had anything that I would actually be embarrassed to play out loud in front of my coworkers. I did, actually:
Also, I really like two-tone saddle shoes.
