What's the point of releasing more and more retail boxes when you've got DLC? I didn't get Rock Band 2 either, it was the exact same plastic crap only with more songs. Stop producing endless amounts of discs and plastic and just go digital.
People still like this series? Yeesh.

Can someone explain to me how them supporting the franchise is "milking it" or it is a bad thing. I could understand if one spent 100 or 200 extra bucks and they didn't support them. Getting mad because they are just seems silly to me. Unless they are cutting back on the amount of songs per disk or something like that.

Oh I don't think I worded that right. When I said the extra 1 or 2 bills I meant for the guitar or band equipment. Not that any new game would cost that after that initial purchase.Vanguard_Ex said:

Meh, it is always fun to play this with a bunch of friends having a few bevvies, so I doubt it will get old any time soon. So long as the set list is great and only puts in top 40 hits, and removes any and all emo-punk garbage I am happy. I would like to see some canadian music on there that isn't rush or Nickelback this time around (matt good, sam roberts, tragically hip)
Tyreach are devs of the "other half" of the COD series (COD3 and W@W were both made by tyreach,if memory serves) both of these games ar almost universally seen as the weakest entries to the series plus there`s one COD every year for ...... 4 years now i think?? ,my point being there`s too many COD`s coming out and only half of them are genuinely amazing (the infinity ward half ,the original developers of the series) That`s not to say the others are terrible,just that they kind of let the brand name downRev Erebus said:
Woo-eee, smell that lack of excitement from me. Guitar Hero helped more people become metalheads: I'm grateful for that. But this just reeks of mistake. "Hey, screw the 'band' concept! Play whatever!" I just...urgh. This is a gimmick that they want to make into a selling point. Not interested, hope the reviews crucify it. I know it will sell like nobody's business, but that doesn't mean much.
