Guitar Hero:All that Remains?

Or.

Guitar Hero:Amon Amarth?

Or.

Guitar Hero:Machinehead?

I don't really know any other bands I'd like to see with a game devoted to them.

Guitar Hero: Muse

It would be awesome, but I would also despise it if they actually made it.
Ugh...I can't tell if I would want that or not.
In the name of profit, it'd be made up of half Supermassive/other new crap and half crap songs that have nothing to do with the band. It'd be like they had no idea Muse had existed before 2006, just like every Twitard in the world-perfect way to exploit Twilight's unintelligible popularity. They'd even get that Robert Pattinson hack to promote it. Plus if they use the same Matt Bellamy model that was in Guitar Hero 5, then I'll be laughing hysterically the whole time I'm playing it. In a bad way.

OT: Rock Band: The Who. They've written so many awesome songs over the years. And yes, not Guitar Hero, because they'd screw everything up.

Preferrably, an indepth game about Rush would earn me an instant buy. Moving on, if the creators of Guitar Hero or Rock Band make a game about the Who in the same way as The Beatles: Rock Band, I'd buy that as well. Both bands have an extensive library to choose from and if they can include a lot of songs with some good variety, I think that they would be great.

Ninja'd on two counts there. Although The Who are the better band, I think Rush's back catalogue would suit GH/RB better, for every blistering Who anthem, there's five mellow, laid-back numbers that are more about the lyrics than rock & roll badassery. Whereas Rush exist only to kick ass. I made my friends play Tom Sawyer three times in a row last time we played RB so I could have a go on each instrument! Rush are one of the few bands where you wouldn't be pissed off with having to play a certain instrument, like nobody really wants to drum on Beatles RB, but who wouldn't want to pretend to be Neil, Geddy or Alex?

Here's an idea. Rock Band: Tony Hawk. Every Rock song from every tony hawk game ever, with skateboarding in the background. Actually, that sounds like an awful idea, for get I even said it.

Guitar Hero: Iron Maiden, or Judas Priest.
What I'd love to see is an Ozzy one. You could do Sabbath, then Ozzy himself, branch off into a few Black Label Society songs, and with the Ozzfest you could include plenty of other bands. It would be perfect.

Not a fan of the GH games, I'd rather see something new in the genre. Like say Accordion Hero: Weird Al. Come on Harmonix, make it happen!

I wouldn't want a specific band necessarily, just a specific genre. Guitar Hero/Rock Band Prog would be awesome.

Every song would be half an hour long... and what would you do during the flute solos?

XD, while my friend is busy wailing off the flute solos, as they will no doubt be charted to the guitar, I'll go and get a drink like he does for me when there's a long line of drums with no guitar.

But you can't deny that would be an awesome game. Sure there are some prog bands that make very long songs, but that's why you cut them down a bit. (I personally would prefer they didn't, but songs 15 minutes long might just be a tad off-putting.) Panic Attack by Dream Theater is over 7 minutes long, and when they put it in Rock Band they cut it down to around 5 minutes.

which band would you want as the main band of one of the MANY GHs. I would kill for a guitar hero: Red Hot Chili Peppers!
Given how many songs of them have been released there, consider buying Rockband + a few MS Points Cards.

Actually, about a year ago (April 1st 2009), a german online magazine made an april fools joke about that, complete with songlist. I hate them since that day ^^.

On Topic:

I want a REAL Rock Band: Unplugged.

As in, not a handheld game but rather a game with Unplugged versions of songs and acoustic ones. For example, i was never really much of a fan of Korn, but the Unplugged thing they made is awesome.

Guitar Hero doesn't let you transfer all the songs. So I would have to go with Rock Band:
Muse : Rock Band
Franz Ferdinand : Rock Band
Weezer : Rock Band
MGMT : Rock Band
Nickelback : Rock Band
The All American Rejects : Rock Band
Billy Talent : Rock Band

Onyx Oblivion

Borderlands Addict. Again.

Rock Band/Guitar Hero: Pearl Jam!

I heard rumors of a RB:pJ...but they're from May 2009. No info since...

RB/GH: Rush would be fucking badass.

I don't like music games but I'd be very tempted to buy one if it was:
Rock Band: Carcass

I don't think that it would sell that good, though.
