Guy gets a beating after slapping female TV show host

My opinion? She deserved it. It doesn't matter how much of a prick a guy is ladies, just walk away. If your going to assault someone, don't ever assume that just because your female that the men are part of a type of gentlemen's club.

THAT WAS THE SHOW! Ok yes I get the "don't randomly go up and slap a *****" type of thing because it can be hazardous to your health. Violence is never the answer and that goes for both guys and girls. However! This particular instance was a show about taking bullying for money! True its extremely stupid but what he did was out of line and what she did was not. It was her job to antagonize and he agreed to take it. I think the ganging up was a bit too far though. I mean, maybe one guy should punch him a few times to put him back in his place but don't do that.

I understand that it's a show, and I would say the same thing if it wasn't. I agree with you that no-one should start a fight either way, but when you go from verbal abuse to physical abuse, be prepared to face the consequences of not being able to control not only your anger, but by assuming that the person you're antagonizing is a better person.

I don't consider what he did out of line. She slapped him. He slapped her, maybe harshly, but he didn't raise his fist or take more than one shot. It would be then that I would consider it overkill. Only then do I think he should be punched repeatedly, "To be put back in his place."

Yes but I repeat, she was supposed to do that. The whole point of the show is for those guys to take the beating in exchange for money. He did not comply with the show and therefore he got beaten.

I like being alive so in the event of a female murderer/attacjer i may have to push the boundries and fight back. Silly generalisation is silly. I give girls far more slack than guys, ive been kicked in the balls hard by a girl and i didnt retaliate physically at all, if it was a guy id attack back instantly. Nothing a girl says will make me hit them, however in a no holds bared fight initiated by her and kept going by her il defend myself using reasonable force.

Conclusion is good though, her being a ***** is actually the point of the show, the contestants get paid to put up with it, so hitting someone for doing to them what they themselves signed up for is a bit off. He shouldnt have lashed out like that, its a game show, keep your cool.

Guys who are quick to attack a girl in everyday situations=guys that have problems. I have lots of guy friends but none ever hurt me and I don't ever hurt them. Besides I'm to much of a wimp to take any sort of retaliation

Do you ever attack anybody? If not, you're a level-headed person who understands that they can't take retaliation. If a hot-headed person attacks me and thinks that because I'm a guy I won't retaliate, they deserve to be taught a lesson.

No I don't ever hit anyone harder then a playful push to my friends when they're being dicks. I know my limits, I've been in tumbles with guys before (all basically whilst trying to run away) and it is not fun. Mother nature was not kind to girls in that way.

I don't necessarily think she was supposed to slap him. I am under the assumption that she ran out of comebacks and decided to slap him instead. I can give him props for putting up with her before that, but she still insinuated it. Had it been a male as the antagonizer, would you be thinking any different? As I said before, even on shows where you sign some type of contract, people still have limits. You can tell that he was completely caught off guard and that his strike was a clear reflex. It wouldn't have happened had she been able to do her job and provide a more verbal insult instead of physical one.

I'm a bit torn, the object of the show is to take that shit so he should've been expecting that but in any other situation I wouldn't just take a hit like that from anyone, whether or not I break their face with the first punch depends on who it is and if i think they can take it/deserve it but there will be a punch
