Wow. I don't know if I should be impressed or feel sorry for this guy.

As for a complete collection...If I had to choose one to fall into my lap, as it were, I wouldn't mind a complete collection of the swords that the various shoguns and warlords in Japan had before the unification. Of course, if their armor came with it, I wouldn't mind that either. XD

For my complete collection I would like every piece of literature ever written since the dawn of mankind, not possible I know but that would sure be awesome think of the rarities not to mention wealth, power and knowledge you would gain.
That PS2 collection is damn impressive though just hope they dont get nicked like mine because you wont get jack all for them and ones they replace will not be originals even if you specifically state that unless of course there is some special insurance deal beforehand I suppose.

"This here ?Ultimate PS2 Collection? is actually the product of only four years of devoted hording, and it started once he noticed he was buying so many games, he wasn?t bothering to open a lot of them. Once the numbers grew into the hundreds, he figured why not make ?a thing? out of this? Speaking as someone who has no idea why the hell there are three unopened copies of Street Fighter IV on his shelf? I get it."

Clearly this guy has way to much time and money on his hands. Who owns several hundred unopened games?? Besides this guy of course.

I guess you could say he's...

*Puts glasses on*

...Caught them all.

YEEEEAAAAH- Okay, okay. That was a pretty lame reach around. But daaamn, it's good to see there are more psychotic collectors out there than just me. I have around 200-210 xbox 360 games alone. That's not counting my PS3, Wii, PC and old PS2 and Xbox titles. Nor the 100 Nintndo 64 games that have been sealed away for ten years now. I have so many 360 games that my bookshelf storage is full and i have to stack them neatly on the floor - it's a little bit out of hand. I'd like storage like that guy has got.

Things i want to collect? Well, i like World War 2 paraphernalia. I've got a genuine SA Dagger valued at around £600 and a 2nd class Iron Cross, along with various medals my Grandfather earned in combat. I'd like more antiques from that era, but it is very expensive.

I've recently become a big fan of Iain Banks' Culture novels and i'd love to own the entire series in hardback. As it stands i currently have three in hardback (Excession, Matter, Surface Detail) but given the rarity of Consider Phlebas, his first Culture novel, in hardback i doubt i'm going to achieve that.

That seems... obsessive. The guy was buying hundreds of games that he never got the chance to even open? How does that happen? don't most people eventually just make a list of games to buy rather then buying them or stop buying games? Collecting every game sealed is just so... OCD.

Blatant lies of the highest caliber! That page and any discs you find are part of an elaborate joke played on the world for trying to enjoy top notch mindless entertainment. And you ought to condition yourself to believe the same thing before you go hopelessly mad.

On a less delusional note, Kamiya made up for it with the next game.

Well it's probably the easiest console to do it with, considering that it has like, twelve games.

I'll bet he has less than 3 WRPGs, too .-.
Is this some kind of fanboy delusion? The PS2 has over 2,000 games.
Nah, I love the system, it's just that it seems to have a ridiculously low amount of games for such a popular console. On top of that, a vast majority of them fly right over my head in terms of interest .-.

Kamiya didn't make any of the sequels. He's blameless in this matter.

Not that this matter exists! It is certainly a little off-putting how they went from Devil May Cry to Devil May Cry 3. A publisher decision, no doubt!

I've always said it's foolish to question the logic of the bean-counters and pencil-pushers that patrol the houses of Capcom, and this settles it. As eccentricities go, however, this is far more benign than what one would expect from this company, fortunately.

Now let's just hope they never try to give it an awful reboot from a developer that can't do combat.

Don't get the point of owning sealed copies unless you're going to auction them or something. If he's not going to play them, why not acquire PAL and NTSC/J games as well? He clearly has the resources.
It was stated he got the copies by going to used video game stores before they would be going out of business due to the economic downturn. Getting PAL and NTSC/J games would require either a trip to Europe or Japan, or a massive amount of money and a client who has sealed European/Japanese games

Impressive to say the least... Anyway I would love to have every story ever told in every single format that has ever existed and will exist in history (both fictional and real) in one convenient package. Preferably in book mock-up that when opened reveals a 3D holographic interface. Ohh, and also it dispenses money and refreshing drinks...
