Cheap shot! Not everyone who plays CoD has "Issues." I understand people not liking CoD, but why does everyone have to constantly generalize things about the entire CoD community? Yes, there are awful people who play it. There are awful people who play lots of things. Is this ever going to end? What do people gain by insulting those who enjoy CoD? Really, I'd love to know.
Probably because it's mainly the kind of people who fantasize about the kind of scenario that CoD presents who would actually do such things in real life.

Who would have thought there'd be a drawback to raising a generation of kids on Xbox live to be complete fuckwads?

I love the camera work and editing, who directed this?
Also, XBoxs don't have reset buttons. I'm not sure if any consoles this generation have reset buttons.

I love (read: hate) how the victim says it was completely unrelated to the game, the police say its a first as far as anything online related crimes they've seen, and the media forces the game angle.

I mean, seriously, did anyone count the number of game related puns/imagery?

So by the video, it seems like the argument was over something non game related and it escalated into the attack. My best guess is that anti video game whackadoodles are going to say that the violent game is what made him attack the guy.

I think we can all agree that someone who goes to that extreme level of violence is someone not of sound mind and would have eventually been set off regardless of the video games.
I nor any of my police officer brothers from 3 different parts of US have ever had this happen.

My brother who lives in texas had a murder that started with a verbal argument over AOL Instant Messenger some years ago. I don't recall him saying the news blamed AIM.

I'm a police detective for theft and the like. Real life dangerous gangstas LOVE to steal/own ps3s. I think it's because the online service is free. A lot of them don't have bank accounts or credit cards. Ya know, things that make subscriptions easier to deal with.

Now.... wannabe thugs on the other hand...

Technically on a ps3 if you hold down the power button it 'resets.'

Just goes to show that the majority of people you meet on Xbox live are dicks, you have to hunt down the good guys. Like me :)

I assumed they'd meet up for a delightful lunch the next day, so I was glad that he told me. *raspberry*

Well at least they got the "this fight had nothing to do with a game" statement in so we can later weed out the dumb dumbs as they rack up to point the blame.

Your move Fox News.
The sad thing is Fox News will just edit around any statements that do not align perfectly with their views and take everything out of context anyway.

I can see the headlines now: When nerd rage goes too far! More at 11.

From the sounds of it, it seems like Xbox Live was just the medium for their exchange, the argument itself had nothing to do with games or gaming. It could've just as easily taken place over Skype or Facebook. However you just know that anti-video game activists are going to have a field day with this.

I know right? Those were some legit tits.

Anyway, I can already see FOX humping the shit out of this story blaming it on games... God damn it.
Hmm....So much for that so-called "Murder training simulator" :)

Shouldn't it at least be considered a mitigating circumstance that the victim actually INVITED the attacker to seek him out in the real world? Not that I'm sympathizing with the psycho, but this situation did arise because TWO people were unable to interact with each other in a civilized fashion.

[small]EDIT: Hey, this is my 911th post. How appropriate.[/small]

Fat Guy: Yeah, come at me bro !

*2 minutes later*

*Knock knock*

*Guy opens door*

Fat guy: Oh Shit !

I left halfway through the video as his man titties weren't big enough to hold my attention.

He should consider getting some work done. Add a couple of cup sizes.

This is probably the most surreal and hilarious topic i've seen on this website like, ever. A man gets almost killed by an XBOX Batshit Insane guy and instead of saying "Oh god this is terrible", the jokes just keep piling up.

One guy talks about the guy's man-tits, another guy talking about COD (Im willing to bet 20 bucks that he was playing COD before the attack), it's just a freaking riot.

This is a perfect candidate for the "Topic of the year" award.

I'm kind of curious to know what the stabbing implement was. Yes the victim is big but he got stabbed 22 times and it didn't seem like a big deal. I'm guessing it was a steak knife, they seemed to be pretty small wounds.
