Leather.

Handcuffs.

OK, being serious now. Any of the above sound good, Lego Star Wars especially it's requires more teamwork, and it's an awesome game regardless.

Rock Band. My girlfriend plays drums, I play guitar, and we bond over it. The couple that rocks together stays together.
Except the white stripes.... just saying.

I think all of the above are good ideas,Halo 3 has splitscreen online since Halo 2 doesnt anymore(RIP Halo 2 Online) but you would need to like Halo 3. =P

I love your avatar. It's Bloody Fantastic as Al Murray would say.

Anyhow this would be epic. Surround sound, candles and I'm picturing a smallish screen to play on .. just huddling infront of a little screen in candle light seems quite romantic to me ...

Agreed *high five*

In all seriousness, Red Dead has been really fun as a co-op game for the time I've had it, that might work

Play forge on Halo 3 and build an imaginary house together. It's actually a lot of fun.

Just go out for a nice meal, nothing too fancy, or go to a concert together. Not everything has to revolve specifically around games, even if your conversation largely does. :p Then head back to one or other of your places, or depending on your age, just head home in the knowledge you've had a nice night out together.

That picture is teh awesome. Does anyone have a suggestion of tw player games to play. 360 preferably.
I'd say Left 4 Dead. Horror usually sets a mood, plus it's very teamwork oriented. Nothing brings people together more than someone getting a little tongue... and having your partner blow that tongue away.

Someone else said strip Halo, and that is quite possibly the most fantastic thing I've ever heard.

Gauntlet games might give a nice 'co-op' feel. Being a Medic/Heavy pair in Team Fortress 2 helps, helping eachother out by being an Engineer gives a certain kind of affection.

Raising Chao in Sonic Adventure (2 Battle) could be something.

A Mario Party game, a Wario Ware game, retro Super Mario brothers game, Mario Kart Double Dash...

Play any 1 player game while holding the same controller. :p

Cloudy With a chance of meatballs might be a film to watch.

So any game where you can work together would be better than one where you bash eachothers heads in.

Any romantic movies... I don't really know that much romantic movies.

Guys? I'm a guy!

So, Firstly let me explain the situation. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about a month or so, we don't get to see each other much. I don't have a car and he works weekdays. So we are like hardcore gamers, and he's kind of an introvert (his words). I want to find something nice, and slightly romantic for us to do. I figured why not ask the hoards of Gamer Guys on this site, what gamer couples can do? Maybe suggest a game we could play together, something for us to do, a movie for us to watch. Something! I'm desperate.
Oh, couples advice? Yeah...no dice. I wish I knew some hardcore gamer girls. Watch a movie or something on your consoles?

Sex is always good.....

Other then that just a night in with a game supporting local co op or anything really as long as your doing it together , i always say its who you are with that counts not what you are doing.

for games any of the lego games choose a favorite.

for movies well meet the robinsons, wall-e, toy story have never failed to work on the girls I know.

I know I am coming from this as a guy (thus oblivious to the girls view on this) but sharing time is always good and if the activity is enjoyed by both parties then it is more fun.

First, stop hunting for attention from guys here
Second, try playing with his winky more
Third, Don't ruin his personal gaming world by trying to turn his favorites into romantic things

Also... try playing strip 2-player Tetris

Me and the missus, when we don't feel like going out for date night, flop down on the couch with pizza and beer, and usually play either Left 4 Dead, Gears of War, or something of the like. Army of Two is also a really fun co-op game, especially when you cooperate your weapon purchases to complement each other's play styles.

We also rock out with Rock Band together. Set up a Killing Floor lan, ect ect. There's so many co-op games out there.

Do you guys like DnD? Personally, I'm not QUITE enough of a nerd to enjoy DnD but I got stuck doing a campaign with my girlfriend (she's far less nerdy than me and far more bored by it) and her friends but I can totally see it being a fun thing for just the two of you if you role-played it right.

Besides, there's nothing like a little role-play for some romance ;D

If DnD isn't really your cup o' tea, the LAN-Prom suggested above actually sounds kinda cool. Movies, as cliche as they are, are always a great way to spend time together. You get to cuddle up for a couple hours and hopefully miss a chunk of the plot due to..... distractions :) With video games, it's harder to get the right time for those "distractions", unless you're like, cuddled up on the couch playing together or something.

Whatever you do though, make sure that it involves both of you and some sort of interaction. As long as you're close to each other and doing something together, you'll be bonding and enjoying one-another.

Think its all been said pretty much, just somethin the 2 of you can do together, preferably being nice and close. Personally would go 4 a bit of Lan(but not too much), then both get under a blanket and watch a film, is always fun :)
