I did, I've no idea where you're pulling that from, and they've got no articles on it from before Microsoft purchased Bungie.delta4062 said:It was a Ps2 exclusive actaully, look it up on IGN.Starke said:IIRC it was actually orignally announced back in... 97? as a Mac exclusive, though after Durandal and Myth a PC release was probably inevitable. and it's not on PC because IT WAS DESIGNED FOR CONSOLES.
Anyways, back on topic. I doubt that we'll get Halo 3 on the PC until the new xBox comes out. If you have a look at the launch times of the 360 and the launch time of Halo 2, you'll see that they wait for two years [roughly] to announce the release of Halo 2 on the PC, well after the 360 had started gaining popularity.
I won't be buying it neways. Halo 2 was poorly optimised, to the point where I gave up even trying to play it on my system, the slight lag it was giving me, with the poor graphics and the poor quality of the port means that no way in hell will I ever be buying Halo for the PC again.
OT: Because it will see horribly outdated and full of lackluster gameplay? Compared to every other shooter on the PC
Anyway, it was getting a hell of a lot of press in MacAddict back in the late nineties, which doesn't make sense if it was a PS2 release.
