I reload too much too... It's pretty common.

I also tend to do weird stuff with my controller, like constantly clicking the analog sticks when I'm idle. They are kind of loose now... Before putting the controller away, I have to touch the buttons in a specific pattern: Triangle, X, Square, Circle. I don't know why!

Every time i get a new game i almost always put my head in the box and take a long sniff of that brand new game smell as soon as i open it.

Also when im starting to get bored while walking/running somewhere ill begin repeatedly jumping in that direction.

In Fallout 3, after a gun-battle with mercs or raiders, I'd always line them up in a row outside their building/camp/random area, like you see in old pictures of victorious soldiers standing behind the lined-up rows of enemy dead.

Also, I'd carry around a hotplate, and every time I wanted to eat meat/tinned food you'd normally cook, I'd drop a bullet, since I came up with this survival-thing where you sparked a small fire underneath the hotplate and cooked your food on it.

I also carried around a cup, fork, knife, frying pan, pot etc. Just so it made it slightly harder AND I had to ration myself (and it was awesomely belivable)

i have a natural tendency to glitch stuff.
it just happens! XD

also, because of shotgun training in gears of war 1 by thasnor( him killing my 500 times with the shotgun, and me not trying to die), i tend to not die when i should have been dead 3 times earlier. this makes me a nice decoy. -smirks-

Every time I get a new game I'll tool about with the options before anything else.
If it has character customisation that's my weekend gone.
Sniff the manual. Always sniff the manual.
Gotta love that new manual smell. OT: in RPGS like FF i grind...just constantly grind, in final fantasy IX the first area when you get to fight i got to level 15 (it also gave me a shedload of gil)

I'm an ammo hoarder. I try to make sure I never run out of ammo. Killing opponents with as few bullets as possible is something I strive for. And I won't use more powerful weapons except as a last resort. What if there's a stronger enemy around the corner?
In RTS games I always overdo the defences. In age of empires, my base is often surrounded by a forest of towers.

I like sneaking around, even when it isn't called for. Long range sniper shots, silenced weapons, and all that stuff. I like picking off enemies that are unsuspecting of my existence.

Also, I like to be in command of a few, specialized units. Commandos, strike teams, whatever you call them. I like to set up plans which maximize just a few troops effectiveness.

I always have to explore as much of the map as possible. Not the physical map of where I can go. I mean explore to fill in the map you look at to see what is open to you. It's such a pointless habit.

I always prefer to play Civilization 3 with a focus on economy and building. I'll spend hours building, researching and creating the happiest, most advanced nation on the map...unfortunately it also means I'm the least well defended and I break down and cry when my neighbors come along to gang-rape me, destroying everything I worked so hard to build.

And also, I will go to any lengths to get a bow and arrow headshot in Mount & Blade Warband. Horse archery is great fun, even better when you shoot someone in the throat or between the eyes at full gallop.

I will always try to keep my gun fully loaded. Even if I only take one shot, I'll reload.
I am the same here, as well as when I'm playing Counter Strike I reload before the round ends, even on the servers where you get a fresh gun with full ammunition each round.
Also when I play games where dead bodies remain, I have a tendency to put a bullet in them anyway, as if they might get up and attack me again.
As for equipping characters, I lean towards full sets of objects, for example I'd go with a full set of Grade 3 equipment over a mix of Grades 3 and 4 - I wait until I can get the whole set, then do so.

Also like me - even when I used to play co-operative building games, like Roblox, etc. I always preferred being the one to go in and 'Can Collide' their bridges, so they'd fall through it and plummet to their deaths in a void, and otherwise sabotage others instead of helping build with my team (much to the annoyace of those others, while all of us laughed at them).
Habitually for Counter Strike (again!) I always go with the SAS counter-terrorists, buying a USP and an M4A1, silencing them both, then standing well away, taking only a handful of shots but each time being incredibly lethal.
I like AWP's too though.

I always look up in elevators, since it's very popular to make enemies spawn there. No game has managed to surprise me this way in around 10 years. I'm proud of myself.

I am also obsessed with making up creative ways to kill people. For example, in Halo Wars, I figured out that by using 3 Captain Cutters and everyone mac blasting a base in the start, you get a free dead person on the enemy team. In BFBC2, I like attaching a crapload of C4 into UAVs, making it an excellent anti-vehicle and anti-objective weapon.

In the Mass Effect series, I have a tendency to select every dialogue option when possible. Even if I already know what the person is going to say.

I have this niggling need to poke at EVERYTHING in-game. Exploring Fatal Frame 2 took me forever the first time because I kept trying to open drawers and doors and closets.
Yes I'm terrible for that. Even when I know I won't need it I still take the time to grab it anyways. You should see my collection of skins in RDR. 15 hours and I am still in the first part. Damn bunnies keep slowing me down.

When I was playing Oblivion, not only did I buy every house on the market, I stockpiled arms, armor, healing potions, magicka potions -- basically readied each as the focal point of the resistance, should that town come under attack.

Of course, then I left to continue my adventures, and it was only a key guarding the shit till I got back.
