Not really a habit, but platformers such as Super Mario Bros. and the like have given me really good timing.

Also, Mirror's Edge got me into parkour... Kinda... Pity I'm shite at it :p

I started savoring that last shot before popping the heat sink... If you know what I mean.

Other than that I can never walk around without looking up to make sure a cliffracer isn't behind me. Numerous horrible childhood memories of playing morrowind caused this. They're everywhere!!!!!!!!!!

I often find myself wondering that; "If I were to shoot that guy over there in slow-motion with an assault rifle, would his head explode? I'm not sure if I've got enough accuracy to do so."

Fallout 3 for the win.

Air guitar hero-ing when I look at other people play guitar hero.
Carefully watching corners and looking paranoid in general.
Sometimes when I start thinking, I start thinking in English (And I'm Norwegian..).

When I was little I was scared of the dark (who wasn't?)

Now I love the darkness (I don't mean the game but I like that too)

The reason? Splinter cell.

I also like watching for weak points and how I would go about killing someone.

Oh and paranoia. I also do the thing where I check my corners.

IDK if it is just from all the online MMORPG's or sitting in vent half of everyday but I did gain a fruity accent as the years creep by. Might be from playing the colorful array of races WoW has. If ya know what I mean mon. ;)
Oh and im 98% positive my grammar is going backwards. Is it me or does every MMORPG tend to degrade into lolcat status eventualy. :p
The only other nasty habit I picked up is my crazy driving. GTA4 and others have led me down the awesum path of scaring the crap out of other college students even with my driving.

I always need invert on, and reload after every kill. even on RPGs. Why does this sword keep running out of ammo...

If you mean real life habits, then I guess playing ass creed 2 always makes me look at rooftops and shizz in a different light :p and saying 'stojina' a lot (not too sure about spelling), after the amount of times the Russians on MW2 mp seem to talk about their 'ten inch stojinas'. Think Im crazy? go on, just listen out for it next time you play CoD :p

People might normaly do this but I now make a habit of making sure that the door is always closed behind me. I have also quoted Warcraft 3 sometimes.
Locking the door is common sense, isn't it?
(also Karthus' ulti is gay)

can't think of an actual habit i got from playing games, though.
Oh, maybe tapping my fingers really fast sometimes, when bored (Guitar Hero).
First, you're right. His ulti is annoying and gets on my tits. Doesn't stop him from looking pretty badass. I don't even have him. I'm more of a Morganna myself.

And I didn't mean locking doors like when you leave a house, I mean just closing doors anywhere I go behind me.

I had a dream last night that I was making some pretty good headshots with a gun that looked something like a thumper in MW2 but it wasn't loud or messy... It was a wierd dream. I've had a few dreams like that lately because I've started playing MW2 a lot recently.

IRL I also often make game noise sound effects like Mario's Yah! Wah! Woohoo! or just general theme songs

Let's see... I constantly turn lights on at night to avoid being ambushed. I quote random things from games frequently ("I do not have enough mana!"). I also took up archery for a while after playing Oblivion, but I don't have the time for it anymore. Probably some other things I do that were influenced by games and I just don't even realize it.

I also dream about games a lot.

Similarly, when I'm drawing on a piece of paper with a pen or pencil as oppose to Photoshop, I will instinctively look for Ctrl+Z when I make a mistake. It's kinda embarrassing when I realise I'm not using Photoshop XD
Oh this is classic...I think I'm the same way when playing Solitaire with an actual tangible deck of cards. I sometimes forget there's no right-click so I've got to do everything manually...
