I personally have a habbit of touching my ears, specifically the jagged tips on the top of your ears. I touch them every time I'm nervous, bored, fidgetty, sad, and some other emotions. I can't help it, in one of my home movies you can see me touching my ears the whole time when my Aunt is giving a speech.

Any habits you have? Wether it be tapping your foot or licking your elbow(?), are there any habits you just can't break?

I have a habit of scratching my eyebrows when I'm reading for some reason, and cracking knuckles when I talk to people.

I run my thumb and index finger down my goatee like some diabolical evil-genius plotting his scheme to take over the world....

...or it's just a bad habit.

Bite my nails, and according to my wife, the annoying habit of always turning on Marvel vs. Capcom 2 whenever she's trying to watch one of her many shows.

If you mean the bearded fellow with the White Russian and musketeer hat then yes, that was me. How goes it, Dr. Professor?

I have a lot of nervous habits...

Oral fixation: touching my mouth or teeth in a repeating pattern (often gradually increasing in speed), or just having my hand on or around my mouth.

Taking my watch on and off (doing/un-doing the clasp), spinning it in my hands, twirling it (ditto with my ring, and my glasses; must have something to occupy my hands, particularly when talking, listening, concentrating, etc). Lacking a watch, my ring, glasses, keys, or a pen, I will play patterns on my fingertips between my forefingers and thumbs. Hands... must.. be... OCCUPIED! As they say, idle hands...

Spitting into the tub when turning on the faucet for a shower (I have no idea how this got started, or what the point is, but I often find myself doing it unconsciously, and I've made a concerted effort NOT to do it, with some success. Potentially a somewhat-conditioned response to the thought of the taste of soap?)

I have a habit of rubbing my chin and the top of my ears.

I also have a habit of button mashing without a controller.

I run my hands through my hair or play with it when I'm tired/bored. I don't know of any nervous tells I have, but I don't often find myself being very nervous.

I have a deformity in both my shoulder blades that cause them to make very audible clicking noises; and of course since I love the sound for some reason I'll make them click over and over again when I zone out. Apparently I'm the only person that doesn't find it gross judging by some of the looks I've gotten.

I also run my fingers through my beard a lot when I'm bored. (I most likely do this because subconsciously I believe birds may have tried to nest while I wasn't looking.)

Oh, my girlfriend has a funny one. She actually braids her hair over and over and over when she's bored or just spacing out or well, most of the time. At the end of a long movie all of her hair will be braided at least two or three times over.

I "twirl" my hair when I'm thinking hard, or bored or agitated. Thing is...I'm black and have hair coarse enough that the twirls kind of...stick around. After a bad day at work, I look...

...

...well, it's somewhere between "interesting" and "crazy"...
