Actually someone at my university is currently working on a modified version of the classic introversion game "Uplink" - which is intended to be MMO.

It's rather difficult to do, especially since the useful functions like cancelAttack() are not available to new players right away, but it's quite fun overall.

I probably should have pointed people towards this video they made on getting started -- if you don't know how to program, like I'm told is the case with some people... Getting started aint so bad.

I noticed this thread from about a year ago

I thought I'd pipe up, and say that we've been doing a lot of work to make the game easier for new players (loads of quests, NPCs, items, etc).
