I only get about 2 haircuts a year.

I let it grow out to this length (Me on the left)

Then get it cut short, I only straighten it when I go clubbing or anywhere because I like the choppy effect it gives, Ya'l will probably bully me I know.

No I'd just be jealous because I have naturally curly hair and never could wear it like that without it poofing. Grrr...

Whatever way the wind blows it. And I cut it when it get's to my eyes, which is about every 6 weeks. I've never styled or dyed it, but then I rather like it the way it is naturally.

I go from short back and sides to Bieber. I rinse and repeat that process every few months so I only get it cut 4 time a year I guess. I tried doing it in some weird combed back shit and it went straight back to Bieber so I'm not gonna fight it when I care very little.

Takes some maintenance to keep it frizz-free. Straightened it once, but it won't really stick. Loved having 'normal' hair for a change, though.
I usually wear my hair just hanging loose.

That's almost exactly how you would describe mine, only mine is a little longer.
Mine goes all the way down to my shoulders.

I just have a generic Grade 1 haircut, although I wish I had a more vibrant hairstyle. My mum says I'm not allowed to grow an afro or a flat-top because my hair grows so fast, it'll take too much maintenance and we live in a place that doesn't really cater for my sort of hairstyle with special salons and reasonable prices, which is why I have to get my hair cut short.

I understand where she's coming from, but at the same time, it can be quite annoying and I occasionally attempt in futility to persuade her to let me grow an afro or a flat-top, just to assert some semblance of identity. Also, whenever I get a haircut, my friends call me bald (which I'm not) or comment on my apparently odd head shape (which is kind of mean and I tell them to stop, but I guess it's just banter, I tend to ignore it and, as I said, it grows pretty quickly).

Long hair, nearly to my lower back now. I've been growing it out after a "I have to cut my hair really short all of the time!" phase. It's very thick, drys somewhat wavy, and I shed constantly. But it's like a hydra, for every one hair that falls out, four take it's place. I don't try to tame it, and I don't curl it or use hair products or dyes. It's just a natural mane of thick dark brown hair that my husband likes to play with and shove his face into on occasion.

If I ever get a picture of my locks at their best, I'll attach it to this post.

Grow until it gets too irritating to deal with in the morning (i.e. anything that requires more than 5 seconds worth of combing), then shave to about a grade #3. Right now it's still pretty short.

Cursory google searches yield nothing that looks like what I have. That said, it ranges wildly, what with it being very disorganized, but generally looks good.

Thinking of getting it cut short like it used to be (so my trilby can make a triumphant return) and in a matter of weeks, the quiff shall gloriously erupt once more.

Just out of curiosity, and because I have nothing better to do than watch Spice and Wolf; I want to know how my fellow Escapists wear their hair. I just got a fauxhawk today and I'm still perfecting it a bit. So how do you wear your hair?

Firstly Spice & Wolf for the Fucking Win!!

Second, I wear my long arse hair in a ponytail or wolf tail. Depends on my mood

Hair: 1a on the sides and back. 4 on top. A bit longer in the front. Medium Fade.
Facial Hair: Chin Strap beard...though not thin and cut at the chin area similar to an anchor goatee. Disarticulated handlebar mustache.

My hair? Oh it's... Sort of... All over... Down me belly... Down me legs... Down me face... Oh? You mean just the stuff on my head? Sure. It's sort of necklength at the moment. The style is what I proudly call "The bedhead". In other words, the only thing I do with it is move it out the way so that I can see what bus I'm getting on in the morning. Here's a nice view. Sort of.
