half-life 2: episode 3, who wants to see it?

I agree that the games are overrated NOW (after 1 and 2), but Half Life and its sequel were wonderful groundbreaking games.
I'm not really a fan of the episodes.

Personally I don't see the problem. Left 4 dead is a big game and it's there hot thing right now. Why wouldn't they want to capitlize on the craze.

seriously i was very dissapointed in valve when i heard they dropped the franchise when they were one game away (and not even 1 game it was like a fraction of a game) and they drop the franchise to go for the left 4 dead series. i never really played the series of half life until recently and i can see why people loved it so much but why valve? why do you not let us see what happens especially when half life 2 episode 2 gave so little closure? post a comment to this telling whether or not you would want to see valve release half life 2: episode 3

[Congratulations, it is your opinion, shocker! That doesn't free it from being the result narrow mindedness.
You made a very bold statement saying Half-life is the most overrated franchise you have ever encountered.
I called it narrow-minded because you believe the first FPS to feature an involving story is is more over-rated than any gaming franchise. That's like calling Doom or Tom Clancy overrated franchises.
If you want to use the excuse that it is only what you "encountered" so far than you shouldn't be critiquing something in the first place.

Provided he's played the games, or at least enough to get the idea behind them, his opinion is not necessarily narrow minded. You can't deny that valve games, and in particular half life and portal, are very hyped and if they don't live up to that hype in his eyes I think it's a fair statement to say that they are over-rated. Just so long he doesn't try to pass it off as fact but as an honest opinion (which he has stated it is).

i think theyd get quite a bit if they made episode 3 like the original half life 2, as in more then 7 hours of gameplay. the original too me i think 20 hours to get done, thatd be awesome for episode 3, givin that they actually make it

Yes, I would. Also, Valve time is not very fast. see. Valve has not even given an indication that episode 3 is anywhere near completion so it will be ready... when hell freezes over.

Why is it the Orange Box anyway? What made them decide on that colour? Was it a random decision or weakly-based on the fact that the lambda symbol in Half Life is orange?

I always thought that it was orange becuase of the fact that Gordon's suit is Orange.
