how can you blame valve for all the people who cry wolf, it's not there fault, and they have been working on other game's (l4d 1 and 2, portal 2 and now cs go). Why would they have released news in the last 5 years when they have probably barely been working on it (maybe story writers and concept designers), they are dammed if they do release any information too early and apperntly dammed if they don't

I think Valve will build up massive hype for Half-Life 3 or Episode 3 and set a release date for some years in the future, then surprise everyone and subvert Valve Time by unexpectedly slipping it out on Steam with no fanfare.
