Halloween! Anyone dressing up as anything cool? Anyone have any ideas for what I could go as? I've got a party to go to at the end of the month and I need a decent costume but being a student I'm under financial restraints. I was tempted to go as Euronymous from Mayhem but I think I only leaning towards that because I've got the long hair for it.

So yeah, costume ideas. Both asking about yours and crowdsourcing ideas for mine. DO IT!

Just go as a vampire, dress as you normally would and just have a look like Kristen Stewart plastered on your face all night long.

It's been my costume every year ... I think it's nice to be consistent, some people call it boring, I say reliable.

What could be cheaper?

If I'm doing anything, I'm getting a cardboard box, "wearing" it, drawing red outlined eyes and a blue smile, and going as Plank from Ed, Edd and Eddy.

Well, I'm going as Slender Man this year, which is pretty simple when you think about it. Straight black suit, white morph-suit.

Boom. Instant-costume.

As for an idea, you could always buy some fake blood, wear some old clothes you wont ever wear again, and go as a zombie. It might sound...generic, but if you're under a budget, you'd be hard-pressed to find something easier while at the same time, fun.

I'm the only one who can be slenderman, why? 6'6" says why.

Also, I wasn't even a fan before

I'm going as Frank the giant bunnyrabbit. Ordered it today, I hope it make it across the pond before Halloween!

I'm going to be dressing up as Slenderman this year. Granted, the clothes I have will probably make me look more like The Nostalgia Critic minus the hat...Oh well, this will be the first year I've dressed up in recent memory.

I might be Sailor Moon this year for Halloween. :) I have pretty much the entire costume, I just need the wig and boots.

Dear God I hope you're female....

OT: The Joker, as always. Its easy, fun to do if you stay in character and I can actually pull it off. Cheap too.

Why yes, of course I am a female. :p

And nice pic for a costume if you end up doing it. :)

Get a labcoat and go as a scientist of some sort - did it in the past, lab coat was stolen most of night so was myself...found it later with a girl wearing only it

Friend wants me to do it again so we can go as the duo from Stein's Gate

I am going to wear tight leather pants, a black turtleneck, and longjohns underneath it all.

Slick back my hair, talk in a German accent, and call myself the evil genius known as "the Sweater".
Because I will be dripping buckets of the stuff.

I don't got any plans yet (too early to make plans for Halloween lol), but if anything you could always just go as a lumberjack. Go to a work store, purchase one of those flannel shirts (the more lumberjacky ones), put on a pair of jeans and boom instant costume. To add more realism don't shave for a week or two and you'll be a scruffy lumberjack.

Oh snap, I'm a chem major and already have a lab coat! I hadn't even considered a costume that used it but I will now. Also, in a pinch I could just where a turtleneck, carry my bass around and be Jaco Pastorius (though, as with Euronymous, I imagine I'd spend a lot of time explaining who I am to people).

I'm going as The Cape, from the SyFy show of the same name :D Partly inspired by the Community riff on it, one of my favourite parts of that show.
That, is amazing. Thank you, just... thank you.

6' 3" here.

I'm pretty sure that's good enough.

I too, wasn't a fan of the mythos before. Nothing says we both can't be Slendermen, though.

What's wrong with a common theme of having the same costume? If anything, it just means it's popular.

Last time I checked, Slender Man was very popular. The costume is simple, too.

I'm hoping to go as Snake Plissken. Just need some decent camo pants and hope that my hair looks fantastic that night.
