Well, I'm going to start off with a disclaimer for all the Deja-Nazis, I used the search button and did not find a thread like this.

That being said, I wanna know about your custom halo levels. Share them with us and for those of us who don't know (like me, I just got a 360) how to find and download them.
I am personally making a beach of normandy style map with the one level with the giant fan. It has falling fusion coils and turrets pointing at the beach and all kinds of fun stuff. One team starts in the water, the other in the base.

The custom levels in Halo can't really be considered that custom. There's only so much you can do with crates and barrels.

A friend of mine managed to recreate, very well I might add, the Eliminator (I think that's the name) from American Gladiators, the event where one person is forced to scramble from cover to cover and use piddly firearms to take out the guy on the tennis ball turret. Not sure if he posted it for download, but some version of it is probably online somewhere.

A valid point and I can't disagree, but there are some truly awesome creations (particularly ones assembled for MLG tournaments) that are really worth checking out.

Way to stretch the truth. Yeah you cant create your own maps, but you can make custom levels in every sense of the word. You really arent limited to crates and barrels, and even if you were, it still would be called custom because people have created maps in which we have change up the gameplay only using that. There are a lot of awesome and original halo 3 maps out there, only thing that suck is that you cant store that much of them on your 360.

I know that halo 3s forge isnt really a map maker because you cant edit the terrain and so on, but there have been a lot of very original maps made for the game.

Same map, diffrent objects, that a custom map variant. If you think otherwise you have verey high standards.

Anyway Jenga is a really fun map, you only need two players to have a good time.

Blah, blah, blah...

Seriously, if you have the creativity and aren't totally retarded you can do a lot of things in Halo 3. Is it LBP? No, but that's not what it's trying to be.

On topic, I made a game called "Smear the quer" (Couldn't put queer. Censored.) In where... You would literally smear the queer.

Could you link to the one you like? There are a lot of games with Jenga in them on bungie.net

Tell that to these people:

It's what Foundry was made for, after all. Most of these videos contain links to the appropiate Bungie page for downloading to Halo 3.

Note: I did not make these.

Map [http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=54579969]
Gametype [http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=62683942]

The following is the original (99% sure on this) D Day map. The map spawns the red team on the cliff wall on Last Resort and the blue team spawns as far out to sea as they can. The blue team needs to carry the bomb up to the cliff wall and plant it to win, the red team needs to hold out for 10 minutes. The red team has four turrets (although you can only get to one of them by spawning next to it) and the blue team has an assortment of bubble shields, recharges and deployable cover. Its a tough job dodging mortar shells and machine guns but it's really rewarding when you win.

For balance I would recommend a red to blue ratio of 1:4. A really fun gametype if you don't mind dieing a lot.

And the great thing is while the blue team spawns at the nasty end of the turrets, the turrets when turned to the far left point at the red spawn. Getting a kill streak of 50 after dieing constantly is very fun, a little bit like the murder after wining a game of TF2.
