But headcrabs are from Half Life and Facehuggers are from the Alien films.

I call them squids. If they are being really obnoxious (chasing the Chief in swarms of around 90) I call them monkies. What's better while being on XBOX Live, running ahead of them, running back really fast screaming 'I'm being chase by a bunch of monkies!!!' knowing full well you just damned the rest of the party to death?
