Trust me, no Halo fan in their right mind would defend a movie by the Boll-buster... at least, I really hope not.cuddly_tomato said:I actually want Uwe Boll to make it, just because I have a morbid curiousity about just how hard the fanboys will defend it afterwards.Trivun said:The Halo movie is stuck in development hell, Peter Jackson was supposed to be working on it but now is apparently working on another Halo project known only as Halo: Chronicles. He reportedly asked Benecio Del Toro to help as producer but del Toro refused as he was working on Hellboy 2 at the time. Different producers of the game series and Bungie staff have given differing accounts, some saying it will go ahead while others say it won't. Stuart Beattie wrote a screenplay of the first prequel novel (first published though not first chronologically), called Halo: The Fall of Reach, which leads up to the start of the first game and explains about the other Spartan II's, while concept art was produced for the film. At the moment the film version is uncertain with regards to it's future, but hopefully it will be made at some point (preferably starting with Contact Harvest which is the first chronological prequel novel, but doesn't contain the Master Chief, who frankly isn't as important in the series as fans make him out to be). There, that is everything, and yes I am a Halo fanboy and proud to admit it, but I welcome other people's opinions even those who hate Halo and want to see it crushed under the boot of the Almighty Gaming God. You should have seen the Bloodrayne boards. Boy oh boy it got messy fast.
Obvious fake. This is a good indication [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/83/Halo-Logo.png]Selrahc87 said:Seen halo movie trailer on you tube, have a look I think its the real thing and if it is a fake I'd still watch it. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=d6g1yyWEfks
I'd say "never", but even that doesn't sound forceful enough to get the point across.Bob_F_It said:EDIT: And since when have studios posted 8 minute clips of movies on YouTube?
Even though it's already been said in the thread, I'll say it again. The Halo movie is in production hell. It's not being made at the moment. It might some day, but no day soon. And Jackson is working on the new Halo game, Chronicles, not the movie anymore.Chickenlittle said:Good lawd, I can't count the number of times this has been called the "real" Halo movie, whether it be due to ignorance or stupidity, I simply cannot tell. The "real" Halo movie is still in development/production/Black Ops with Peter Jackson.
Oh, that's right. I keep getting the two mixed up for some reason. Thanks.ZeroMachine said:Even though it's already been said in the thread, I'll say it again. The Halo movie is in production hell.
