...Yea "Orbital Drop Ship Troopers" doesnt make sense. Because a drop ship is supposed to get you from orbit to surface, and if theyre all orbiting ... does that mean you just sit in a drop ship and orbit stuff? That sounds... pointless.chstens said:Orbital Drop SHOCK Troopers, thank you.
Indeed so, soldiers being stationed on a dropship in orbit. What they actually are are TROOPERS DROPPED from a cruiser in ORBIT, and the landing is so intense that it forces the enemies to scatter.Valate said:...Yea "Orbital Drop Ship Troopers" doesnt make sense. Interesting...and yet your profile displays only a PlayStation tag - what's your Xbox Live gamertag, seeing as how you own ODST...?InsertWittyName said:I was also one of very few people to get the most content outof odst also since I never had any of the map packs that you needed to pay for.
I give it a 6.5/10

No, I'm sorry but what...?Serious moment:
The original was certainly more innovative, as for better - thats personal opinion, though if you don't like Halo 3 I doubt you'll like any of the other games since the core mechanics are no doubt similar...I tried Halo 3 and found it bland and unfun from both a gameplay and sound design perspective. Is the original Halo: Combat Evolved better?
Every single review/thread about ODST gets the S wrong basically.chstens said:Orbital Drop SHOCK Troopers, thank you.
I just got the elite and odst bundle a few days ago and I don't know how to get an xbox gamercard onto my profile, I'd put up my gamertag but im pretty sure i'm going to change it soon.D_987 said:Interesting...and yet your profile displays only a PlayStation tag - what's your Xbox Live gamertag, seeing as how you own ODST...?InsertWittyName said:I was also one of very few people to get the most content outof odst also since I never had any of the map packs that you needed to pay for.

OT: I only got halo odst because it came bundled with the 360 elite for a cheap price, and while I thought it was more fun than halo 3 because dying is actually a possibility, It was a very short campaign, walking through the city loses its charm after the first time and even though they tried to return to the halo 1 type weapons, I can't help but feel incredibly dumbfounded how an ASSAULT RIFLE does not do more damage or has as good of a range as a SMG.

Wow, a little uncalled for there?slayer542 said:ODST was an amazing game with great gameplay, characters and weapons. The campaign was epic and extremely fun. Firefight is also very fun and addicting.
ODST is also a GOOD VALUE. It comes with 2 discs that includes the following: New campaign, Firefight, theater, forge, custom games and ALL the multiplayer maps with 3 NEW ones. It also has the REACH beta.
Anyone that just rents it and forgets about it is a fucking idiot.
because horde mode was so obviously the first mode to have a "survive against waves of enemies" mode.RentCavalier said:a cut and paste knock-off of Gears 2's Horde mode
