My friend is getting a copy, I'll borrow the single player disc off of him when he gets bored, maybe buy it when it's super cheap, if it's any good.

Pre Ordered and looking forward to it. The atmospheric night scenes and epic day scenes seem to be quite interesting.

I pre-ordered it, hopefully the left wing dictatorship that is Royal Mail will not deliver it late or lose it.......

Well it's Halo and it looks great so naturally when I get the chance I'll get my greasy fingers all over it... might not be till Christmas though. I buy my own Christmas presents, I am so lonely.

I could point out everything wrong here, but I won't. Nothing I can say will change your view.

I feel the opposite, and pre-ordered for Srg. Johnson. I plan on having endless fun in firefight, and am anxious to see how they did the campaign.
No you probably couldn't change my oppinions on facts. Also I really don't get the catch with Sgt. Johnson, you can't even tell your him, and it's not like he's gonna say funny black man quips or anything(well he might but I doubt it) all in all it'd be the the same if you were just the ODST skin.
They aren't really facts unless you have actually played the game.

Pre-ordered. I've been a fan of Halo's story and universe since the first game, so any new entry in said sci-fi tale is a must-buy for me.

I really want to buy it but I don't know if a four hour campaign is worth it. If I did buy it, it would be to get all the map packs since I have none of them.

I don't know about ODST, but I'm definitely giving Halo: OWST a shot.

You win automatically.

And yes, I am buying it, just because. Really, it's either that or waiting for Left 4 Dead 2, and I trust myself to recover economically for then.

Ah, kids these days... always confusing preference with fact. Hopefully they'll grow out of it eventually.

Also I really don't get the catch with Sgt. Johnson, you can't even tell your him, and it's not like he's gonna say funny black man quips or anything(well he might but I doubt it) all in all it'd be the the same if you were just the ODST skin.
It's also amusing to see folks talk about things they don't actually know; here's an audio clip (mp3 file) of out-takes from the "Sgt. Johnson" voice work [http://www.bungie.net/images/Games/Halo3ODST/sounds/Gotta_Lotta_Issues.mp3] in Halo 3: ODST.

Maybe you don't want to play it, and that's fine; not everyone has the same taste in games, or the same comfort with the cost. But don't confuse that with some sort of absolute "fact".

Heh, probably worth getting. Missed Halo3 entirely, so haven't experienced this 'lapse' in Bungie's good track record. Amused to play the game mostly because it's voiced by a decent portion of the Firefly cast. That said, I chose to purchase a copy of Perfect Dark (for the N64) recently rather than buy Halo3, so chances are I'll rent ODST first, and see if it's worth it later.

I took advantage of Gamestops 25% trade in bonus and returned L4D and World at War meaning I'm paying about $2 dollars (the tax) on my pre order for ODST. So cool beans.
