The community maps aren't on the pub playlists. If you lok at the OP I did say that I enjoyed the community maps.Theninja said:Does it matter? The community has the tools to make good maps
Yeah because the popularises of microtransactions just hate the chance to score millions of dollars for a few weeks work.SalamanderJoe said:I actually have a feeling that Bungie won't bother making new maps, and just select the best player made Forgeworld maps to become standard playlist maps.(whitty name here) said:C'mon DLC we know you're there
Yep. It seems the best ones are the Forge World ones but I'm already getting sick of looking at those grey blocks (maybe because I spent too much time in digital Legoland building Forge maps)Vrex360 said:Forge World does a lot to balance out that problem but yes I do agree that a lot of maps do have the problem with too many similar structures and there are only a few. True this is the early stages and we can probably expect to see a lot of new stuff in the future but as it stands it is kind of lame that several of them are clones of old maps and that they are all designed fairly similarly and that there aren't many of them.
Still, there are a lot of great multiplayer variants that help balance out that issue.
Exactly.Alpha1089 said:Yeah, the Reach maps don't seem like they're very good. I've only managed to get in a couple hours of play so far, so I've only played a few of the maps, but they were pretty fucking terrible. My good memories of Halo 2 and 3 split-screen multiplayer have been brutally murdered by the 10 minute long game I played where I came first with 10 kills because my mates and I couldn't find each other. Stupid corridors.
