Hang on, Bungie reckon that 23 million people have got 20 kills in a row but that only 4.7 million have got 15 in a row? Last time I checked you had to go past 15 to get to 20! Are we sure Bungie aren't just making these numbers up?

Yes I saw this too. Maybe they put it there so we'd notice and feel smarter than them. Or maybe, just maybe Bungie are lonely and want people to spam them with emails about it so they feel better. The real answer is probably really boring.

Honestly I think we could of done better. 9 billion multiplayer kills doesn't sound like much compaired to the 24 billion dead covenant littering the surface of Reach.

Speaking of which I wonder what would happen to the planet if that many corpses were left rotting?

Probably because of that one part in Exodus where they send a crap load of them at once, and the players kept respawing. I hate that part, even on easier difficulties they constantly kill me.

You've seen the end of Reach? The green fertile plains? There you go. Ask any farmer near the Somme, they'll tell you dead bodies = fertile soil. I'd imagine all of those Skirmishers and Hunters would mulch down quite nicely.
