I agree, what you mentioned wasn't worth sixty dollars...
But you didn't mention all there is to Reach.
It does have fire fight, cool multiplayer, the new forge mode is great, and custom games feature large amounts of customization.
If you look at it that way, then single player is really only one fifth of the package.
I'm lovin the responses to the review, but to everyone claiming multiplayer is this games salvation, I'm gunna have to be a yahtzee imp here and say the game has to stand on its single player alone. If I want to play multiplayer, I can go play Halo 3 or ODST. Instead of making a whole new game for multiplayer, why not just make an expansion for the existing multiplayer, for, like, $20-30 instead of $60? And also, Forge is cool, but its just a time sink in the end.

And to all my foreign posters paying insane sums to play the occasional game, on behalf of the U.S. and our self-perpetuating ignorance... Sorry Dudes.
Idk why its cheaper here, but I do have a better appreciation for my local Gamestop price tag (unless its used, in which case, f u Gamestop)

So if a movie was to use the same tecnique with the cameras it would be perfectly fine?

Other than that you basically just turned your review into a rant. Simmilar to Movie Bobs review of the Expendables. But at the same time I can't help but think you are only hitting on it so hard purely because it is halo, had it been gears of war or something (essentially the same thing) you would have been a little less rough.

Personally I disagree with your point of view. While I see your point of view most of your complaints can be addressed by simply making assumptions and looking at the bigger picture.

Edit: While I too am perplexed about the whole re entry thing I assumed he simply did what master cheif did. Only thats absolute fucking bollocks! The cut scenes in that mission do show you and a re-entry pack on your back so I assume that the re entry was what it was designed for. How it works is an entirely different story!
Didn't see this quote earlier, and you make a lot of good points.
One, it was a bit of a rant. I admit. But so what? What's wrong with that? And I'm not just ranting on it because its Halo (like I said, I'm actually a fan of earlier games, enough to buy the books and read up on the extended universe. I love sci-fi in general). If its a bad game, I'll rant. Gears of War? Oh god, I could go on about all the stuff that lessens that otherwise fun game. and Gears of war hasn't had 5 games to try and get it right, either.

Halo: Reach was just half-assed, and I'm disappointed in bungie. And all those "assumptions" the player should be making and "the bigger picture"? It was supposed to be a global conflict of epic proportions (pretty big picture...), and it ended too fast for the story to even develop beyond fighting random hordes. Why should I have to fill in plot holes to make the story work?

But whatever, your entitled to your opinion. I actually may be a little biased against Halo. But Halo, you made it just too easy to pick flaws. Thanks for the feedback though dude.
