As per the title, CVG did a little hands on video and I have to say it looks like a massive improvement in every department. Then again, just like the guy in the video I'm really not a fan of Sony's controllers up 'till now. Really looking forward to trying it myself as it seems like icing on a very satisfying PS4 cake.

I liked the PS3 controller, but I still think it feels a little big. This thing looks like some kind of behemoth.

Can I ask how big your hands are? I find the ds3/sixaxis quite cramped and I'm not the biggest of people by a long shot. Microsoft's controllers feel streets ahead in quality and comfort to me, andthe asymmetric design surprisingly works well. Saying that the Xbone's effort looks on course to change the status quo.

I'd say I'm medium-small, nothing particularly extraordinary. I wouldn't say the PS3 controller was too big, but if they are going to change the size I'd rather it was smaller so it was more comfortable.

I think this looks pretty good to be honest. I do like the old PS3/2/1 controllers, but they were a bit small and they could get a bit uncomfortable after a while for my oversized clown-hands. I like the changes to the triggers, you had to buy little hook-bits for the PS3 ones if you wanted them to be comfortable. Literally everything on this looks better, I glad they didn't cock it up. Also, great big flashing blue lights are always cool and is that a normal headphone jack? Praise the lord! Hallelujah!

On an unrelated note, there was a Newton Faulkner ad at the start of the video, for a brief but confusing second I thought Newton Faulkner was reviewing the controller.

I really liked the dualshock 3 controller, why the hate...
This does look quite nice though, especially the triggers and handle but I actually prefer a longer distance joystick like in the ds3.

Well I'll be getting used to the small changes anyway so I don't care too much.

Looks great, a lot of improvements over the Dualshock 3. I liked the PS3 controller, but this thing has some very clear advantages. The only things that worry me are the weight (I like a light controller) and how damage resistant it is. >:D

I have fairly long/big hands, and I still love the classic PS controller design. Even the marshmallow L2/R2 buttons (honestly really hate calling them "triggers"). Never liked the 360 controller. The LB/RB buttons barely feel like buttons, LT/RT feel less resistant than the L2/R2. The asymmetrical sticks always felt very weird to me, and the concavity wasn't very comfortable. On top of this, the wired controller is far too skinny in the center, while the wireless ones have an unshapely tumor for a battery pack.

But the DualShock 4 still looks good. I'm glad it's bigger; it has to be if it's going to have a touchpad. It looks nice.

The one thing I really want out of this controller? For the left stick to not break.

My SIXAXIS and DualShock 2 both suffer from left analog sticks which stick juuuuust enough in a direction for it to register (this made playing Souls a very scary adventure until acquiring a Logitech controller).

I'm liking the look of the new controller. The only thing I don't agree with is how he didn't like the analog sticks. I like how they're ridged now, although I never had a problem with the DS3's sticks in that regard, but I'm worried the sticks are going to be more stiff now, similar to the 360's sticks.

I liked that the DS3's sticks were kind of loose, it made it easier for me to aim more precisely compared to on the 360. Maybe it's just me, but I'm hoping the DS4's sticks aren't more stiff.

I really hated the DS3. It made my hands cramp up after about 20 mins. Horrible controller.

PS4 controller does look better. I can't wait to hold one.

Love my Dualshock 3, absolutely loathe the Xboxes controller. Only a couple of quibbles; I've got tiny girly hands so I don't know how that's going to translate, I liked the 'travel' on the sticks on the DS3 (finer movement, I suppose), and most I importantly... how do you pause?
