Isn't combining the effects of medicine like aspirin and an ongoing alcohol intoxication a really bad idea? I could swear they said aspirin can cause internal bleeding with alcohol. And as far as I remember allergy pills (like cetirizine) cause some bad stuff too, if the alcohol level in your blood goes beyond the point of mild intoxication (and it's going to if you are concerned with having a hangover). Though it's probably ok when you sober up.

Not drinking is not an option, but you can drink enough to have fun and still avoid a hangover, if you drink over a longer time, in small sips and eat while you do that. Have a glass of water or two before you go to bed, get enough sleep and you're gonna be fine.

I've been told that having a glass of water and two paracetamol before you goes to sleep prevents it. I find the best cure is to have anoter drink, only one as you don't want to be drunk again... or do you?
you don't need the paracetamol. Hangovers are caused by lack of water, so what is really getting rid of the hangover is the water, not the medicine.
Yeah I know, it's just someone I knew swore by it, and always stressed the paracetamol helped.

Medicines like aspirin and tylenol cause serious liver damage.

Oh, and the best hangover cure is and will always be drinking more.

Puke before you feel too sick.
It's better to puke and go to bed and wake up fresh, than it is to go to bed feeling sick and wake up none the better.
It's also a great way to insure you don't puke all over yoru bed in your sleep, or wake up without beeing able to make it to the bathroom before dinner get resurected.

best thing to do is to give in to your drunkin munchies and eating something after your done drinking as food will help soak up some achool, water/vitmain water/gatorade b4 bed and in the morning helps. also when you awake eating any bread-like products will be the best thing along side the water

Well since hangovers are basically you just being dehydrated the more you can hydrate before you fall asleep the better you'll feel in the morning.

I read somewhere that eggs/bacon or other salty/high protein foods in the morning help a lot...but since when has bacon not helped ammirite?

Bread, water, cofee and aspirin. Kicks a hangovers ass.

Make sure you drink water while your drinking, too. I normally keep a bottle of gatorade on me when I'm getting shitty.

Before bed I always drink a couple of pints of water and wait until I need the toilet, then go to bed. Then when I wake up the next day I don't feel like I've had my head stamped on. A couple of ibuprofen with that sometimes helps too.

I have tried the "hair of the dog" approach only a couple of times. First time I tried I was promptly sick about 5 minutes later. JD and Coke wasn't a good choice for starting the day clearly. The second time I sunk a few beers when I woke up and I survived the hangover but passed out on my friends sofa about 11am dead to the world...to wake up about 4pm...with a hangover.

A bacon sandwich with coffee and a jaffa cake has got me over some pretty rough mornings

My mom gives this to me when I'm sick, but apparently it works for hangovers too (or so she says).

Honey, piping hot milk, a spike of brandy, and a raw egg mixed together. Tastes hella good too.
