be content, proud of whatever you are. its really that simple, only YOU can make yourself happy.
LIVE confidently.
Be happy.
Its easier for self-confident people to be happy
I'm not perfect, but so what? I'm good enough FOR ME, and that's what matters.
IF you can live with this mindset, you to can be happy.

Happiness comes from stuff in your brain (like endorfins) which are the brains reward-system.

You can get your brain to release endorfin/dopamin and other chemicals by doing a lot of things, eating and having sex and doing drugs to name a few.

Eat jelly. That is all.

As it happens he's on to something. Confident people are often happy, they don't sit around saying 'i dunno i might for for a walk near the lake today'. Instead they go out and kick a bum in the face.

Oh my god! I never thought of that!
its amazing how many people fail to realize THEY are their biggest obstacle to happiness.

OR master your mind to release them at will, its working pretty good.

AND NO, I AM NOT HIGH RIGHT NOW.

Sure thing dude, i just don't haev time for that, seeing is i'm currently mastering my artisic skills to make a picture that'll make moma lisa look like some crap made my a 5 year old blind kid with no hands, and later i'll be mastering my budo, so i can make bruce lee look like a drunk having an epeleptic attack, and once i'm done with taht i'll master my guitar skills and make the best song on the world (the one Tenacious D made a song about) and after that I have to go visit my parents for dinner.

EDIT: may wanna use some time mastering my typing skills as well... they seem to fail me a lot these days.

Why not restrict a few hormones while you're at it? Or play out a beat with your heart!
No. The brain does not work like that.
NOT WITH THAT MINDSET.

...okay, personally, i still need a little external stimulation, but really, that's just a good song or good company, and i feel about as happy as having sex.

Anyway, I think some of the best advice for being happy is to step away from the media for a moment.
I mean, being away from all those emaciated actresses makes me feel better.

Really, most of it has a lot to do with how you're raised. If you're designed to be miserable, you have to go against your very being to be happy.
You can't just say, "Choose to be Happy," you gotta go, "Look at what's making you miserable, and realise that its not real." Its tougher when its a real problem, but that's where hope comes in.
