It's not. I just use Halloween as a valid excuse to dress up. Because I get funny looks throughout the year when I do dress up, for absolutely no reason at all.

Agreed. It's like pancake day: why the hell do I need someone telling me what one day out of 365 I am authorised by Christanity and society to eat a delightful treat?

Going to a friend's party, we go trick or treating, watch slasher movies then play and assortment of horror videogames for the rest of the night. Good times. Gooood Times.

That is exactly what me and my friends had planned but then half of us had to work. I still think the other half is going trick or treating but the slasher movie fest isn't until Saturday and I am bringing the movies so without me they are nothing.

I get to work all night, but since it's Halloween I might be able to get off early and go out with my friends, although I still dont have any idea for a costume, and I refuse to go as The Joker like has been suggested by everyone.

Almost exactly the same thing here. I was never into the whole "going round to someone's house and demanding candy" thing, even as a little kid.
But I saw the opportunity to put a pumpkin on the head of a Ninja and by the beard of Zeus did I take it.

Its the night my alter ego Eviljoe can rise from the netherworld for some sort of twisted Halloween spectacular, possibly in RP form, possibly fun for all involved.

Possibly, but i cant know for sure.

You wouldnt want to miss it... should it occur due to some horrible sequence of events. It would be horrible. And fun.
