I know it's not cool,but Sam Kekovitch's Australia Day ads always make me laugh.So corny they're hip.

But yes seriously, I do not like Australia day. I'm spending it hiding indoors, watching foreign films and then going to the movies. I'm certainly staying out of the city today, that's for sure.
But seriously as much as I love that video, it is sadly really accurate about the types of things that go on every Australia day that it also kind of makes me sad.

Well I just went out in the nice 40c weather on a bike...and ran out of water. X_X
Good thing I walked back or I would of died in that weather, also I am gonna go out to the Swan river to see the fireworks with the family, hopefully they won't take the bikes because then I'll stay behind.

Sadly people do talk like that in australia. I'm just going to sit here and have some soup, watch youtube. The amount of douchebags and racists in this country is very annoying.

I already can see it from my room's balcony, so why go when I can see them from the comfort of my balcony, with all of the bonuses such as having everything near by including drinks and a few treats.

Meh, my day wasn't special or changed anyway... in fact it was worse.
I sat at home doing an assignment with No-one home and did nothing else the entire day... plus it rained for about half the morning.

I work for an Aussie company so Australia Day is always great - there's no work to do but since it's not a public holiday in NZ I just get paid for wasting time on the Internet.
