Really? for me he was one of the easier bosses, all of his attacks could be avoided by rolling to the side and there where loads of places he got caught on you could run through, magic was very effective against him if i remember correctly. You could also get to him quickly after you died because the only real obstacle in your way is the fall from the pit which can be completely avoided if you go the right way down and wear the cats ring. I beat him on my first try on NG+Flour said:Probably Flamelurker in Demon's Souls.
Unpredictable, strong, fast, becomes even faster after taking some damage.
There were harder bosses in other games, but so far only Demon's Souls has had real difficulty, my deaths against Flamelurker weren't because the RNG said "fuck you" and killed me in some cheap way.
Yeah, Monster Hunter monsters give me a tough time the first time. The only monster which I refuse to EVER fight again is the Plesioth. I don't think I've ever met a person who actually wants to fight the Plesioth.Drakmorg said:Most of the bosses in the Monster Hunter games tend to give me a tough run my first few times trying to kill them. Khezu and Tigrex especially took me at least 5 attempts to kill. Tigrex actually made me quit the game when I realized that in order to get strong enough equipment to progress I'd need to start farming him.
Also, the helicopter fight in Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker was an absolute *****. Mostly because the actual pilot didn't give a shit about his ground forces and would fires missiles at you while you were surrounded by his mates.
"Friendly Fire? What's that? Oh you mean that thing where I hit my men with missiles? You mean I'm not supposed to do that? Kinda hard for me to tell that my men aren't expendable when you gave me 20 of the buggers and a helicopter to command just to kill one man."

Good luck rolling away from all of his fire attacks if you're not very close to him, and that's basically a death trap because when he turns red [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TurnsRed] he attacks faster than you can get your shield back up.nad302 said:Really? for me he was one of the easier bosses, all of his attacks could be avoided by rolling to the side and there where loads of places he got caught on you could run through, magic was very effective against him if i remember correctly. I never found that mission to be that hard to be honest, got an A on my first try (and managed to save Old King too.)EverythingIncredible said:That said, beating "Attack on Arteria Cranium" on hard difficulty in Armored Core: For Answer without using one of the game's many broken weapons was ridiculous. I actually had to exploit the game so that I could fight each of the mechs one at a time. Since normally, you fight them all at once. And it's a *****, let me tell you.
that dude was hardZemmy said:The old Korean guy at the end of True Crime: Streets of L.A. You fist fight him in the wreckage of a downed plane...And I remember him being an utter C%&T!![]()
