You left out the incredibly easy Wii Tennis and Bowling. Boxing is very easy I beat all the A.I Miis by moving the wii mote and nunchuk side to side fast and doing the slow mo punch.
Baseball is extremly easy considering you can get in the high 90s by flicking your wrist very fast. Golf is difficult the first time then it is very simple.
Point taken. How do you perform the "slow mo punch" anyway?

Prince of Persia for the NES was definitely the hardest game I have ever played. The controls were terrible, everything killed you and it was hard to make out what parts of the world would kill you because the graphics were so bad. Also, the game never explained your objective and was timed so even if you did make it near the end time could run out and end your game anyway. I never got past the first level without cheating horribly (game genie) and even then it wasn't any fun.

And this is coming from someone who has beaten quite a few of the games people have listed here on max difficulty including System Shock 2, Homeworld 1 & 2 (easy as hell compared to System Shock 2).

There are plenty of easy games so it's hard to choose The Naruto fighting games come to mind as being stupidly easy to beat but most recent games are really easy (Gears of War on max difficulty being an exception, although the control scheme is partly to blame).

Ninja Gaiden: Black. The final few bosses on that game are impossible. Or as close as you will ever get.

Oblivion. A great game, but unbelievably easy. I have a spell to drain a huge amount of health and kills most enemies in one hit.

Easyness- Shadow of the Colossus. Find weak spots, stab repeatedly, fail to care when the thing dies. Hard mode time trials considerably trickier, but not unbeatable.

Hardness- Timesplitters 2, like everyone's saying, and also the original PS2 stuntman. Starts off simple, quickly becomes INHUMAN.

Easiest: Portal, Half-Life 2 (except for the prison), Mario Galaxy, Chip and Dale for the NES, Burn the Rope, Assassins Creed, Bioshock

Hardest: Sam n Max (The original not the episodes), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (get past the second room, go on off you go!), Dead Rising (damn game you have a pistol, the armoured jeep driving towards you has a mounted assault rifle... kill it)

Homeworld 2 was only ever difficult for me in the first level that you see Makkan's flagship. 15 crapping enemy battle cruisers on the map, unless you keep your fleet constantly moving, you face 5 at a time when 3 or 4 is plenty enough to blow you into space dust. You had to micromanage like a psychotic stage mother. took me about 15 tries.

But Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox is probably the hardest game I've ever played.

I can't really pick out the easiest. Recent games have had a tendency to be easier than past generations of games, I've noticed.

Hardest: Rayman - STILL can't find all the electoons.
Or Age of Empires II. 'Course I was young when I played it and I've lost my copy so I can't go back and see if I'd do any better.

Easiest: Bioshock or World of Warcraft. (though I like both ^^)

Hardest: Ninja Gaiden on Xbox

Easiest: Fable TLC. It is hilarious how absolutely nothing in this game could harm you, and still you find a reviving elixir every five minutes.

hardest: since im pretty bad at anything without a mouse and keyboard it's hard to find a hard game in my favourite genres

I'd have to say DMC3 and CoD4 on veteran were rage worthy. But i never beat DMC3, i beat CoD4 on veteran.

Easiest: pretty much any FPS.

I think for me it would be the final level of BLACK when playing the hardest difficulty, thats pretty much torture and i killed one of my ps2 controllers on it.
I think the easiest game i ever played was stuart little 2, or maybe it was stuart little 1? Any way i beat it in like 4 hours.

Hardest: Ninja Gaiden (Haven't played 2 because I don't have the money to break controllers this time around)

Easiest: Halo 3 legendary campaign. It isn't even fun anymore...

Has anyone played Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine?

It was impossible on the higher levels

Haha I remember that game thats classic. I was REALLY good at it and I got pretty far on the harder difficulties.

Hardest - The hidden pyramid bosses(mostly the last 2, Ragu o Raula and Anglmouis[sp?]) in Wild Arms 2. 5k damage to entire party in consecutive turns = fail.

Easy - Ninja Gaiden 2(when the camera doesn't fuck you), Fable, Grandia, and Chrono Cross.
