Hardest Facepalm Ever

Fellow Escapists! I present to you, the hardest facepalm I've personally experienced in many moons. The video is a demo of the Nintendo 3DS's version of "Ocarina of Time." You only need to watch the first few minutes before the facepalming begins!

It wasn't that bad. I never got there in Ocarina and I wouldn't have known what he was supposed to do if I didn't read a comment first. That and the DS doesn't have a right analog stick for looking.

I guess it was still pretty funny watching a GameSpot'er fail.

There was even dirt and rubble falling from the ceiling to point to something moving above him.

Although in his defense there wasn't any intro movie showing gohma dropping from the ceiling or scurrying back up like in the original.

Edit: never mind forgot the intro movie doesn't play until you look up, so rejoice he did fail.

My face is burning... this is the most pain I've ever inflicted upon myself. You'd thunk he would had been briefed on how to initiate the fight before-hand, or at the very least turned over and asked the 100+ people what he was doing wrong.

He just needs to look up. I can see how a game reviewer could forget that, since they play so many games and he said he hadn't played OoT in 12 years.

The guy with the mic is pretty damn annoying: "It wouldn't be 3D unless it has 3D in the title."

Zelda games are full of "you just have to do X" but they never tell you. You just stumble around for hours until you find the specific thing you need to do. It's like adventure game logic, only worse.

Stop right there. You don't know how to initiate one of the most popular boss fights/cutscenes in the game. Don't tell me what I should and shouldn't recognize.

And maybe the reporter could put his hand infront of the screen a few more times just to irritate us even more. I don't think he quite did that enough.
