Star Fox for the SNES, hard path.

There are other games that are harder I know, but I've never beaten Battletoads so frak off.
Me and my brother beat battle toads when we were younger. It took us months. Like months.
Really? me and my friend Adrian (no longer my friend, he tried to drown me, long story)
finished it in about a week of non stop playing and just sheer damned determination to get through it. I was about 8 at the time. I can't do it anymore unfortunately.

I beat F-Zero GX 100%, I beat the original Devil May Cry 3 on normal, and I just recently beat Bayonetta on Non-stop Infinite Climax.

I couldn't get through that damn game. Sure they give you 1000 lives. but every fuckin thing kills you! I hit 138 lives before I gave up.

BUt yeah, if we're going my the "completely beat" way of things, then Disgaea 3 is easily my greatest feat. Hitting 10 000 000 000 dmg in one attack took me forever to do.
Ahh, I wish I had a PS3 so I could play Digaea 3. Until then, I've got Disgaea 2 on my PSP. I only have 2 more pirate maps to find till I unlock the land of carnage. Damned Ambling Pirate...

In Prinny, I'm down to about 600 lives on Sir Sweet but the second half of his battle is beyond insane. I simply don't have enough stamina to jam square that long...

Beyond Dark Castle. ... though I didn't actually beat it. Let's just say I was watching when someone else did.

Any game on any difficulty

Mine would be MGS 1 on extreme

EDIT:I would like to add that i beat the VR training it was very hard so i mention it
I play the "life" game, hard yet fun.. but the endbosses "Death" and "time" are sooo CHEAP, didnt find ways to evade them yet.

On topic; Body Harvest (N64). Took me about 3 years to eventually beat it. The Java level was a PAIN.

That'd have to be Call of Duty: World at War on Veteran. I don't think I've ever gotten so frustrated in all my days as a gamer. Seriously, the battlefield is literally made of grenades - WHY DO THEY KEEP THROWING GRENADES????? Where did they all COME from??????

Devil may cry 3 was my hardest, still only managed to beat it 3 times on the hardest difficulty to date.

EDIT: Also anyone mind comparing the difficulty to another game people keep saying DMC3 was criticized for its difficulty but I have no point of reference.
It was criticized for its difficulty because the Japanese hard mode, became the American normal mode making higher difficulties damn near impossible.

my two biggest gaming accomplishments, IMO, is ME on Insanity, and GTA4.

Neither were HARD, but I had to put in real time to finish them. And I'd say that they're the hardest games that I've actually finished.

The final Mission in GTA4 took me about 3 days to beat.. I'd try it until I got pissed at the game, stop, and come back later.. probably took me 20-30 tries to finish it.. I had to stop after 3-4 tries, just because I was so annoyed. I'd constantly screw up on the Motorcycle segment.

ME on Insanity was just long and drawn out... everything took about 10x as long, and I NEEDED to be on my toes.. if a cooldown like Immunity dropped, I could die pretty quick. Got it done though, and was very proud of it.

Proud of both.

........my advice? find a very hyper little child and tell him to press this button until you say stop, and in exchange you'll give him a lolipop. Don't worry, even if you don't have a lolipop you can still run faster than they can...I hope.
But yeah, Disgaea 2 was awesome! The pirates! Disgaea 3 on the other hand....well, at least the characters are awesome. Plus a decent opening...

Not sure, there have been some pretty tough ones...
Gears of War, Halo 3, and Halo 2 were pretty bad. But probably Halo 2 if only for the snipers.
Seriously, WTF Bungie?

It really doesn't sound like much, but the game that I found to be impossible to beat when i was like 10 was Conker's Pocket Tales. I could beat most levels, but so help me, racing that stupid squirrel in swimming, and in boats, and doing the other two challenges on mako Island were Literally impossible. I only ended up beating the game last year. I'm 16, so you do he math.

That OP was hilarious...

As for Sir Sweet, the problem is that you have to dodge his attacks too, and you still have a 3 minute time limit. If it weren't for that I could slowly whittle down his health, but I need to keep the speed up the entire time... I'll get back to it eventually.

You sick masochist bastard! Did you hit yourself with a hammer every so often to add to the pain? Seriously NG2 on hard? As I recall hard mode everyone had rocket launchers and the camera fought you even more than them.

While I hated NG2, I loved the first, seriously 2 was just BULLSHIT >:U ANGER
