F-zero Gx for me, all cups on master, all story mode missions on the hardest difficulty.

Hell, even now, I can consistently finish any cup on master without needing to restart.
(Protip: kill kill kill kill kill)

Probably SMT: Nocturne...

The problem with the term "Hard" is that it is very very subjective. Many people found Dragon Age (on normal) to be "Hard"; I found Dragon Age (on Hard) to be pretty easy...

Also I suck at FPS games... but I wouldn't call them "Hard" just based on my performance there... just outside of my skill zone.

inb4 I wanna be the guy (hard mode). That game is TOUGH, but i'm tougher. the games sadistic sense of humour and interesting level layout was enough to keep me going through to the end. (which is why I never gave I wanna be the fangame light of day)

Also demon's souls. It mopped the floor with me over and over and I loved every second of it! It's definitely in my top five favourie games. Beaten every boss at least once w/o blue phantoms or cheap magin' also took the time to get the platinum, unironically i'm a bit of a platinum hunter.

I beat demons souls, but it isn't hard once you get the hang of it.

Crusing USA for the 64. I had blisters on my fingers from playing that game :(

I beat Fire Emblem 7, playing through both Lyn and Hector's stories on hard, without losing a single unit. If I did lose a unit I didn't restart the battle, I deleted the saved game and started from scratch back at the prologue of Lyn's story. I did it over the course of 5 months, and ended up restarting a total of 17 times.

Jet Force Gemini..... I remember back in the day when I finally hit the final boss I had so much trouble beating him that I started THE WHOLE GAME again and saved all the rocket x-pacs for Juno lol... brrrrr Tribal hunting brrrrr...

F-ZERO GX. Story mode. Expert. SADFACE.

Donkey Kong Country Returns had a shocking difficulty curve too.

Also, Super Ghouls n Ghosts.

Games in recent memory, Super Meat Boy (both light and dark worlds and all 100 bandages) and Serious Sam (Hard mode, I'll shoot for Serious mode later).

Older games, I finished all three Ninja Gaidens on the NES and I also finished Devil May Cry 3 for the PC. Try to finish that thing with nasty FPS drops and a crappy PS2 USB controller (a 360 controller is way better).

Me and a buddy tag-teamed the real Super Mario 2. We only had a chance because it was the All-Stars version.

Top of the first division in Speedball 2. Since you couldn't save it on the Amiga that took a damn long time..
