Beating the final level in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

The bad guys in that would shoot you from across the map, you had TWO nuke silos to disarm, and you were on a time limit. Difficult, but fun
Oh dont remind me about that, I loved thta game but the rage produced by that one level was so high I almost died!

[small]I never did finish it[/small]

GTA SA driving course the one where you do something like 5 laps in x amount of time.

CnC3 the mission before the scrin arrive first you must defend your base with limited power and watch towers then escort the mcv to the base and then the rest is easy, that first bit took quite a few tries, first mastering the turret defence and then getting out enough units out to take the enermy base out on the way to collecting the mcv...

Also half life in the section where you have to navigate a room of fast ninja girls...although on reflection I think it was my health level that made the game hard, not the actual level.

Well, I beat Minecraft. That took some doing.

Almost as hard as getting the good ending in Geneforge 2. Words don't explain what you have to do.

I usually only play games on default difficulty but I do remember when I was much younger playing Zelda OoT the 'dark link' mini boss in the water temple seemed really hard....I played it again recently and it wasn't.

It's not much, but I managed to be the Touhou game "Imperishable Night" without using a continue on easy mode... T_T

It impressed all of my friends, but I can't do it on normal and I think that Imperishable Night is the easiest in the series. It really depresses me to think that that was the most difficult thing that I was ever able to do...

Well, there were those times where I decimated Sephiroth in both Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy 7, as well as when I beat both bonus bosses in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and all of the Weapons in FF7. However, for the Weapons, I just ended up finding a ridiculous strategy online. Who would have though that they forgot to make Ruby Weapon immune to paralysis?

I never really grind, so coming up to the second to last boss battle on Kingdom Hearts 1 kicked my ass, because it was just me, and I had been relying on Donald and Goofy. I grinded my little heart out and took him down. The rest of the game was a cakewalk. At least, until I tried doing the optional bosses.

Oh God. How many tries did it take? I pulled a perfect run the first time, but it was mostly by luck and I felt like I had just broken a wall with my hand afterwards.

Accidently auto-saving just when you meet up with a horde of Deathclaws in New Vegas on Hardcore mode. Barely survived that one, I used C4 explosives and the Oh Baby super sledge, along with Boone and EDE backing me up. Felt so epic once the final cinematic kill showed up!

I haven't played this game in years, but the most difficult level I've ever played in a game was the slums level in Jak II where you had to bypass a fleet of police ships after getting an artifact piece.

It took me something along the lines of two hours to finish it. That might not be long at first, but remember that I retried a level that only takes a literal minute to beat 120 times before finally getting the achievement.

I also tried Black Ops on Veteran. EEEEKKKK!!!! Treyarch is the devil when it comes to difficulties. I never did beat it, though.
Wait, how can you do Mile High Club on COD4 but not be able to complete Black ops on Veteran? Black Ops was easy compared to COD4's Veteran. I suggest try it again mate, you should be able to easily do it if you did Mile High Club.

On topic, probably Mile High Club myself, Completed COD4/COD:BO/MW2 on veteran. I find FPS to offer me the real challenge, mainly because half the time you die in some cheap way.

Well, right now I'm going through Gears 3 on Insane difficulty. That so far is pretty damn hard and until I started playing on Insane, I hadn't realised how FUCKING annoying the tickers can be.
