I killed the Legendary Deathclaw at level 10 in Fallout: New Vegas with everything I had except melee weapons, 'cause that's suicide. I found it on accident, and picked off all of the other deathclaws, but I got the big one on accident, and I built an addiction to Turbo, but by jove, that fucker went down.

A close second would be going through the God of War series on the hardest difficulties. If I gave myself over to impulse, my controller would be a part of the base-work of my house.
I actually beat the Legendary Deathclaw with a Rebar Club at level 12, got lucky :p

OT: Beating a person online in MvC 3, the shear agony makes me want to sell the game...

Dead Space 2: Hardcore Mode. You only get 3 saves throughout the entire game, enemies have a major health boost, very scarce ammo, and if you die... you start all over from the beginning of the game (or checkpoint from last time you saved).

Spent 18 extra hours playing that game on Hardcore Mode when it usually takes me 8 hours to beat the game including the first Dead Space. Still worth it, since now I literally love shooting things apart easily with my *spoiler* foam finger! W00T!
There's no health boost on the enemies, they're just as easy to dismantle as on Normal. They just do the same amount of damage as on Zealot.

I just found it amusing that XBox players get a free save at the disc swap -- right before the worst part to get through, the tripod hellevator.

Hm... Lots of difficult moment for me.. most recent one is Bastion (Jesus that game is beautiful) with all Gods on but I can't even pass the first level.

As for the one that I actually pass and is quite proud of myself is that GTA : Vice City mission where you have to race that fat dude to get him in your heist team.

The Hardest fight that I didn't die on the first time on that was also so fist pumping awesome? When I beat Mass Effect the first time through. But maybe that was also cuz I was soo into the game and my brother was watching my play in just a completly different style then him so even he didn't know if I was gonna make it.

I have to say the hardest thing I ever had to do that took mulitiple tries on was beating the end of Mortal Kombat Deception and Mortal Kombat/DCU. I'm limted to the characters I don't use trying to beat such a cheap ass boss. When I finally did that I was so, "YEAAAH F.U. GAME!"

Those are the most recent ones that come to my head.

Dark Souls for me, the game is one big long hard moment. Even the easy bosses tend to kill me if I'm careless.

I've 1CC'd (1 continue cleared) Touhou 2, 4, 7, 8 ,9, 10, 12 and 13. Still havent beaten any extra bosses though, although I did get about literally 5 seconds from finally killing Mokou, then flew into a bullet.

Other than that, I PLAYED DWARF FORTRESS. It's really nowhere near as hard as everyone says when you get past the control scheme and the graphics.

On MGS: 3 Snake Eater, I beat the first level on European Extreme. I cried myself to sleep shortly after, and gave up attempting any other levels

Oddly enough, I thought Scarlet was really, really easy.
Really? As a boss herself the actual tactics involved were simple enough to understand and I actually thought it was one of the more original designs. It's just I found the dodge movement (and most of Homecoming's controls in general) to be incredibly unresponsive and dodging her attacks was crucial. Getting the laser pistol was the best thing that game ever did for me.

fallout new vegas- taking on all the deathclaws at quarry junction with a well placed c4 I had started shooting at all of them and wasn't paying attention to my rounds for the gobi campaign sniper rifle.... damn
Wow, I remember that! I went into that mission on far too lower a level but was determined to complete it all the same. I had to keep hiking back to town, stock up on missles, then stumble back and pump them all full of explosives! Damn, that took me FOREVER!

oh also if they came to hear me beg.
Oddly enough this is the first time I've heard of this achievement. I might just go torture myself by trying to get it now...

-Mercenaries Playground of Destruction when I was on the Irradiated Island and had to take out two coastal anti ship guns, it was fun but hard and I used well of 3 million on airstrikes and tanks to get beat that mission.
I loved that game! But it kicked my ass for too long. I was chuffed to bits when I finally managed to CAPTURE every single target without killing a single one. The very last one was a ***** though, hiding away in his tank...

Amnesia whilst trying not to wet yourself.

/thread.

Actually, it was completing Richtofen's Grand Scheme in less than 15 rounds. Took us like 5 tries.

reaching Black ops zombies lvl 76. My fucking god that got repetetive after a while.
FUCK! That must have taken, like, 10 hours. I would get sooooooo bored at that point.
I had to bribe a friend to play for an hour just so i could eat and go to the bathroom. I still don't know why I did it.

Beating Dr Nefarious in Ratchet and Clank 3.

It was easy to dodge his attacks, but if he hit you he did so much damage. Even after you beat the game and had all the best weapons he was still hard. But that's what made it fun

I know this makes me sound feeble, but after getting Painkiller yesterday, I spent ages trying to defeat the catacombs mini-boss. The trick to killing him takes so many goes, and the number of times it killed me was unbelievable. Still, I did it, eventually, only to now be stuck against the first true boss. Grrr.
