Anyone with Microsoft Word > Stephanie Meyer
I use notepad. :(
I use Open Office. :(
Okay, even simpler. Anyone with a keyboard.
Stephanie Meyer has a keyboard, does that mean she's better then herself.
Wha?
Wonderful, a logical paradox. Way to go Mr. Moose, breaking the universe and all that.

she uses the phrase snogging
As an Englishman (more specifically Yorkshireman) and an avid believer that dictionary.com has all the answers when it comes to words, I am saddened by your objection to the word snogging.

And as a man who likes to snicker at unintentional sexual innuendo, I am as well.

I only read the first four books. I'll confess, I thought Prisoner of Azkaban (or however that's spelled) was actually pretty good. It wasn't a tome of adjectives and terrible pacing that became the selling point for the fourth book and presumably every book thereafter. It was brisk and engaging. Something that was missing from the first two books, and wasn't repeated in the fourth.
Agreed. The Prisoner of Azkaban was probably the best.

It gave the series a dark tone for the first time, but nowhere near as dark as the end, which was quite dismal for a children's book.

Personally, I've read the series, and I quite liked it. Mind you, I'm more into concepts than writing techniques. She grabbed a part of my imagination, and twisted it to her liking. And that's why her books are so popular. They'll never be classics, but they will inspire children to read.

I do have to say that the first 3/4 of the last book dragged on, unending. So I agree with you there.

P.S. Love the pic.

[sup](Besides, we all know she stole the plot from George Lucas [http://www.saynotocrack.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/61074_harrypotterstarwars.jpg].)[/sup]
Haha, I need to make one of those for FFXII, now THERE'S a story that copy-pasted Star Wars.
