Don't worry, they'll both probably stink anyway..
The last Harry Potter was a slap in the face to anyone who enjoyed the books. Just.. blah.

And considering the last Harry Potter book was as big as the Bible, I'm not surprised it's been split into 2 movies.

You sound like the kind of person who'd complain no matter what they did.

the final book was my least favorite, actually. I think it's funny, I thought the last book was a rush to tie up the story, but the movie seems like it wants to take it's time. I'm going to see both of them, but I doubt I'll enjoy it.

Personally the 6th is my least favorite... I feel like they ruined Voldemort character in it...
Before that book i had the feeling he was a Cold diabolical genious...turn out he is just plain crazy, too much inbreeding... Seriously WTF

I'm not actually sure whether splitting the last book into two movies is a good idea or not, I haven't read the book for years but I don't remember it having so much content that it would be worth the split, but then again if they can make both films intersting and not too spread thinly then I'm not complaining!

I think its a good idea, a book cannot be made into one movie..its good they are doing 2 but they need to not space them a year apart it should be at most 6 months.

now potter, prepare for the anticlimax to end all anticlimaxes!

also, if there is one thing JK does not have a firm grasp of, it's the mechanics of combat.

Meh, pointless rant.
You're bitching about WB wanting more money,
but yet still say you don't want to miss the movies?
I haven't seen Harry Potter 6 before, and I coped.
If you're so pissed off, don't watch!
I need a drink.
Harry Potter 6 came out?

Wow, from the sound of this confusing rant, I think you have more issues beyond Harry Potter, I recommend medication.

And you're complaining about it now? Hopefully it will be a more detailed film, so I'm okay with it.

What I'm not okay with is making two games instead of taking the time to make just one better game and release it with the 2nd part.

as im sure everyone knows by now, WB has decided to portray harry potters final adventure in 2 films instead of 1, which WOULD be fine, except their 6 films worth of detail butchering too late to pretend they give a crap about quality now!!! because we all know that, even with 4 or 5 hours of story telling time, theyre STILL gonna cock it up! and its not like we can choose not to watch it, thats like choosing not to breathe! what does everyone else think?

(i know personaly, when harry get captured and locked up in draco manor im gonna stand up and shout "HA! WHAT NOW ASSHOLE!? BET YOU WISH YOU HAD THAT MAGIC MIRROR NOW!")
I am pretty sure they are cutting it into 2 films so they can include more detail (and make more money), so they don't have to cut out 30 minutes of epic fighting like they did in the last movie >_>

We've known about this (and been bitching about it) for quite some time now.

For my part, I just wish that Emma Watson had never been allowed near the things (get used to that people, you're gonna hear a lot more MZ EW bitching from now on.)
I'm guessing it's the acting you don't like. To be fair, she was a pretty good actor for an eleven year old. She just hasn't improved much.
That's my point, yeah. I really liked her when she was in the first two, and then somewhere around free Daniel and Rupert started to open out a little and try things, but Emma just got very very melodramatic and annoying.

Breaking the movie into two parts was the smartest thing that series has done.
Agree with you 100%. As others have said, no matter how stupid the studio may have been with omitting detail in previous films, at least they're making an effort to keep things not too compressed in the final installment. Plus, it makes the studio extra money, hehe. Win-win I think.

Eh, stop complaining. A two part movie based on how the book went was a smart idea. And I honestly don't know what you were talking about in that last statement.

2 Parts are good. It's like Lord Of the Rings. Originally, it was going to be 2 films, however it isn't enough to get the story told appropriately. The Hobbit, too, is going to be in 2 parts because it'll seem rushed and doesn't get into any finer details an extra movie would allow.

I'm happy to pay £11.00 for the 2 films in my local cinema. It's not much, I'll be (hopefully) appropriately entertained (succeeded so far).

firstly I just want to say you're a wee bit slow on the subject matter since I've known about this since its been on bbc news, now I think about it I do believe that was before the sixth film came out.

Secondly... I like the idea.

But at the end of the day who doesn't want to see WB milked version of the attack on HOGWARTS/ fight between harry and Mr. V.
